I played this game 2 yeara ago and now I'm going to play the DLC. I had to find a way to remember what the storyline for the base game was. Your video was very detailed and made points that I dont remember ever thinking about when I played the game the first time. I really enjoyed this video, and I'll definitely watch the others in this channel. It seeems that you haven't posted in a long time, and that sad. Wish you continued or the patreon was open still. Just beat the game but still didn't have much if an idea of what the story is about but thankfully this video cleans that mystery up pretty well. Also cute voice and love your accent!

i'm confused, and i would like your help. about the how they harvest light energy in cyslodia, and fire in clalglia. in calaglia the renans worked people to death. and from their bodies fire energy emerged, but shionne said they have machines for extracting astreal energy from minerals! so why use people to mine in claglia? and what about cyslodia? do they also make the dhanans work to death in order to extract light energy from their bodies? or is it not from their bodies? but rather from the environment? i'm not sure. and why it's so dark in cyslodia? while in clalglia it's still hot and has fire? and again, why not using machines to mine minerals in calalglia?

Have you decided on what you plan to do next? If not, then I honestly feel the way your present your videos would fit nicely in darker, story driven games like "house of ashes", "root letter" or "until dawn". Maybe some classic horror like "dead space" ,"fatal frame" and " silent hill" .. Think it would be great to hear you explain the 40k universe but that would be a lot of research if your not already familiar... Either way, im rooting for you and hope you come out with something soon

I just beat it a few hours. Can you explain to me what the purpose of the spirit ceremony is? If its done by the renans, who were being controlled by the helganquil, who were in turn being controlled by the great spirit then surely it wasn't meant to destroy the great spirit but in the end they tried to do it on rena to imprison the spirit. Please help me understand :) it's the only bit I don't get in the game. Thanks Edit: so I just think, the real reason for the spirit channelling ceremony was to drain all dahnas energy that I understand, I just don't understand why they tried to do it on rena at the last boss

Yeah, you're right. Spirit Channeling Ceremony was for the Great Astral Spirit to devour all of Dahna's astral energy, which would lead to the destruction of the entire Dahna. When Rena began to directly suck astral energy from Dahna, a huge flower grew in it. Initially, they were supposed to hold the ceremony on Rena to seal the boss (the Great Astral Spirit) in Shionne. In the end, they managed to destroy its core without sacrifice thanks to Dahna's will. Or rather, thanks to the desire of the Dahnans.

@@peachygamer8100 ahhhh I get you now, so while on rena they weren't gonna do the same spirit channeling ceremony they nearly did 300 years ago on lenigis but rather use the renas alma to channel the dark energy instead and keep it trapped in there? Took me 86 hours to beat so I had kinda forgot important parts of what did what. Thanks:D

Almost. They tried to seal the Great Astral Spirit in the Renas Alma. You can watch the video again from 40:37 minutes to recall. Anyway, glad I could help you :3
