So much good voice acting in one video. Johnny Yong Bosch, David Vincent, Michael McConnohie, Karen Strassman, and Patrick Seitz are all very good at what they do. The beginning was like some scene in Code Geass that had Lelouch, Kallen, and Charles all together that never happened. And then Li Xingke comes in for some reason.

My God, this whole OVA is pratically a who's who of voice actors. Not to mention that, so far, it's been entirely canon to the the main game. Didn't think I'd actually see the day a game-based anime would actually be accurate to the source, and even less so that we got it professionally dubbed.

Verkili Yeah, like how they did it in Tales of Symphonia: The Animation. Hated the fact that they excluded the part of the game where they introduced Marble and Chocolat. But then again, I'm pretty sure it'd keep me back from watching the anime because of how sad Marble's death was. :( They also changed a lot of stuff too, for example how they brought back Colette. But as long as there is special hopeless romantic moments (xD), I'm all ears and eyes. :p

Well, I mean the game DID have the characters go into the past, back to the present, then into the future and it'd be hard to add every little detail considering this is an 4 episode OVA. Tales of the Abyss had a good anime, compared to the rest of the Tales anime.

wow a few minutes in and we're already heavily deviating from the game's story. not only do we miss out on Cress' village getting destroyed, but for some reason Mint is accompanying him in this part when she didn't in the game. This also being where Chester joins in when he was always with the group when they get captured. its weird that the anime decided to heavily deviate from the game like this, but ill give it slack since its only a 4 episode OVA so I imagine they had to change a lot from the game's story and condense it as best as they could.

EpicAnimeRequiem Eh. Symphonia's Anime wasn't really that good... I mean, it took out Lloyd's entire reason for going on the journey, and overall it was just a really loose string of events that didn't have any cohesion whatsoever because they tried to compress Symphonia's 60 hours of storyline into a 12 episode Anime. If anything deserves a licencing, it's Abyss' Anime.

Anonymous Stranger I guess it's because the animation normally "speed up" the things and change what is , as you can say, "unnecessary" from the game. They do the same about Manga, in some cases the whole story is changed when put into the anime. So now they took off the parts of the game that wasn't so "important" and put only the most important events.

i wouldn't in any way say it was stupid. it tried to tell an interesting side story that could have been probable, but even i agree that Farah was a lot more aggressive and bossy then she was in the master piece game, oh well. but to be honest, none of the anime's are faithful to the games, so much was changed in this OVA of Phantasia, its a mess. but still very enjoyable. its fan service. but i favor eternia over the others because it did something different

I found out about this game because im a huge ToS fan. Apparently ToS and ToP are related! For ex. Im pretty sure Sheena Fujibayashi in the 4000 yeat long run is related to Suzu Fujibayashi. I watched the ToS anime and just now I started to play ToP on the emulator cause it seemed cool! Then I found out about this so here I am watching it. Though, According to some sites this isnt perfectly accurate.. Even still! (Im new to the game)

It's all about to saving Mana Seed/World Seed for Dhaos's people & preventing human from uses Magitech's weapon.. That's why Dhaos fight for.. @ILoveAnimeandVG2 Problem is I don't have the Eternia anime on hand in anyway whatsoever. Even if I wanted to upload it and had it available to me, there would be a lot of subbing that I wouldn't want/be able to do, not to mention rendering and uploading would take decades. With just 4 episodes and already being in English this is a much easier project. And yeah the ToE anime wasn't horrible, I just lost interest in watching it quickly. I'd rather watch it than Abyss' honestly.
