It's not exclusive to just Demon Fang, you can do it with Sword Rain too

I don't understand. Nonne of my attacks will link. I do rain of blades into tiger blade and it doesn't cancel into it. I can't find anything online explaining this and it's annoying. All I find is yappers showing off.

If want to build high hit combo, why leave out SR: Alpha? If you want high dmg per hit and avoid Over Limit, there are other combos instead of using Sword Rain artes.

As your last statement says, If you want a high combo count the sword rain artes are useful. It's a double-edged sword in some ways since it does cause the boss to over-limit easily.
