Ahsoka is a Jedi Knight and Master in deeds and experience, if not the titles. She has been trained since almost before she could walk. She was brought in as a youngling by Jedi Master Plo Koon and assigned by Grand Master Yoda as a Padawan learner to Anakin Skywalker. Her training and experience were forged during the Clone Wars, and she fought in its most significant battles. In addition to being taught and mentored by the greatest Knights and Masters of the Jedi, she was a commander in the Grand Army of the Republic and served with Clone Captain Rex of the 501st Legion. She fought in, out, and behind enemy lines throughout the war. By the time of her match with this puny Inquisitor, she had already fought in the Siege of Mandalore against Darth Maul, who uses a double-bladed lightsaber. She is one of the last surviving Jedi Knights at this time. No Inquisitor at this time has her training or experience against virtually any weapon and the lightsaber. She could have force-choked him out and crushed him instantly if she wanted. It was not a contest, nor should it have been.

Yeah, Inquisitors on the whole are just basically slightly trained Force Users with badass outfits. They can bully and probably win against most normal people who don't know how to use the Force, but they're completely outmatched against an actual fully-trained Jedi, let alone one as skilled as Ahsoka is at this point.

The only one that could still challenge her is Palpatine or Vader. Personally I would like to see Ahsoka go outside of the known galaxy at some point and start a secret jedi order with Ezra outside of what Luke does.

Jaby needs to watch Clone Wars and Rebels. Watching those would have better prepared him for these tales, especially regarding Ahsoka, my absolute favorite Star Wars character. I love how they essentially lead into Rebels with this and set people up for Ahsoka (Live Action)!! Hope they do a season 2!!

Considering how she was trained by Anakin, it's a no brainer. Wait till you watched Rebels. She's more than capable of handling more than 1 Inquisitor. In regards to stories not involving the Skywalkers, that's why you should watch Clone Wars and Rebels. Clone Wars adds so much depth to the prequel trilogy while Rebels add to the current and upcoming live shows like Ahsoka and Mandalorian. That's why SW fans that has watched both series are hyped for Ahsoka series because characters from Rebels are gonna be making their live-action debuts.

At this point, Ahsoka no longer has a lightsaber. Regarding the fight itself, Ahsoka is supposed to be dead. The Inquisitor sent to this planet must not have been the most competent. And he ran into Anakin's former apprentice, who fought in the Clone Wars, who fought against Grievous or even Maul. He had no chance.

By the time of The Mandalorian, Ahsoka has survived attacks by three Sith Lords (even capturing one), four Inquisitors, Darth Tyranus' apprentice, a fallen Jedi still in the Order, legendary Jedi killers General Grievous and Cad Bane, and an entire Star Destroyer full of clones from the legendary 501st (Anakin's own). I'm likely forgetting some big names. Mask boy here was just a turkey to be carved.

In Star Wars rebels Ashoka is easily able to take out inquisitors as they were only really used for hunting down escaped padawans who never had that much training or hadn’t used their powers in years and not fully trained Jedi nights.

This episode was awesome but I wish they actually adapted more parts from the book Ahsoka. Like how she takes the kyber crystals from the Inquisitor’s lightsaber and by using the Force she essentially purified them so they would go from red to white. And how even though she said she gave up fighting she had been stockpiling parts for new lightsabers over the year she was in hiding, using those parts to make her now iconic white lightsabers. A sign she never TRULY gave up.

Gaby you can't understand who Ahsoka's is if you haven't watched the TCW. Steph this story is taken from the novel about Ahsoka and she becomes the first fulcrum agent of the rebellion mentioned in Rebels. In season 2 of Andor I have heard that Jon and Dave may work with Tony Gilroy, who doesn't like SW but the directors are fans, and hope some of this SW lore will be flushed out. Andor will need to show more of the SW lore if they want it to be successful, even though it's an excellent character driven spy drama show, fans are not tuning in because KK has spit in the faces of SW fans so many times they're not tuning in.

Bad Batch starts right at the end of clone wars and you get to see there some of peoples reaction after the republic becomes the empire. In the Ahsoka show we might be exploring this period of time in flashbacks. We have an idea but we dont know what Ahsoka was doing between Clone Wars and Rebels. Even in Rebels there is a huge period of time that we dont know what Ahsoka has been doing which is probably something we will be exploring in her show.

Well you need to recall that in ep3 everybody in the senate is chanting for palpatine (except padme and her crew). Basically the republic won and then became the empire, so anyone who was in the side of the republic is initially in the side of the empire. Some planets start to reject the empire because the republic promised to retreat after the war but of course the empire has no intensions of doing that.

In the Ahsoka novel, she defeats this Inquisitor, takes his lightsaber, bleeds the crystals white and designs the white sabers you see in Mandalorian Season 2.

There's a little bit of a parallel between the fights of Ahsoka/Inquisitor and Vader/Reva (although this one is much shorter). It's not surprising considering Anakin was Ahsoka's master and they would share some fighting techniques.

8:35 Yeah, it was talked about more in the Star Wars comic and other books, and kind of mentioned in Star Wars: Rebels series with Grand Admiral Thrawn's character. Besides Vader, Grand Admiral Thrawn is a spectacular Star Wars villain. He doesn't have any powers, he just has his intelligence and combat skills. What makes him dangerous is the fact he kind of believes the Empire is in the right, because the in his eyes, the Empire has given people better jobs, they have better security etc. He may not agree with some of Emperor Palpatine or Darth Vader's sinister methods, but he is for the Empire.

A true Halloween tale: A funeral, a harvest, duplicitous motives, misguided pride, Hellish destruction and murders, an evil, Dark Side Force-user, wearing a daemonic mask vs. The Lost Apprentice Of Lord Darth Vader. The Light set against The Darkness. Jaby, you REALLY NEED TO WATCH the last 4 episodes of The Clone Wars Season 7. It's a cinematic Finale, a movie, basically. You'll have a much greater appreciation for Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padme, and a bunch of other SW characters, afterwards. Good reaction, you 2. Actually, Jaby and Steph, there have already been, at least, 2 Jedi Masters in The SWU who appear as Asian: Depa Billaba, from The PT and The Clone Wars, and Silandra Sho, from Phase Two of The High Republic. There are others, too, if I'm correct. Funny, you thought the Brother and Sister villagers were Asian? I thought, at first, they were White; then, considered that they're probably Black and White/Biracial, or maybe Hispanic/Latino. I have a suspicion they might appear in Live Action form in The Mandoverse (specifically in Ahsoka and The Mandalorian); maybe then, We'll all get a more specific clue what their backgrounds are meant to signify...not that it should be very important. This is Star Wars, after all: Anyone can virtually be anything, virtually anywhere in the galaxy. Just look at the various Queens of Naboo, depicted in The PT.

Literally every question asked is answered in Clone Wars because The Clone Wars is the actual show. Tales of the Jedi are side nuggets to the main event which is Clone Wars. "How come she beat the Inquisitor so fast? Where are her lightsabers? Do people really like Palpatine? (Which is even answered in the movies, why do you think they were cheering for him when he announces the genocide of the Jedi and making himself Emperor) Ahsoka is not badass for the sake of being badass, she literally worked her ass off to become who she is and you both owe it to yourselfs to actually watch the show. Then you don't have to be confused and make random assumptions based off of "Oh the prequels are bad", the prequel era is literally the most detailed and fleshed out era in Star Wars at this point. You talked about there being other characters in the galaxy aside from the Skywalkers and that's literally one of the best parts of Clone Wars. It covers tons of other characters that have nothing to do with Anakin, hell there are arcs that don't even include the Jedi. You said you wanted to see Ahsoka put her skills to use, well that's what the Clone Wars has already done. You have to keep in mind that you're watching these shorts that are small expansions of an already told story. This is not the show to see Ahsoka prove herself, she's already done that. Ahsoka is literally trained and mentored by Anakin/Vader and Jedi Master Obi-Wan, no Inquisitor is touching her in combat. Not only that, the Ahsoka series takes places directly after Star Wars Rebels. So you're probably going to be even more confused because there are multiple series worth of characters leading to where Ahsoka is.

Kanan Jarrus' (formally known as Caleb Dume) Master, Depa Billaba was portrayed by an Asian woman. She was briefly seen in one of the prequel movies but had a bigger role in the Kanan comic series. She was herself taught by Mace Windu. You need to watch clones wars to understand what happen to her light sabres. Also in the book she took on two inquisitors and dispatched them the same way without her sabres. I won’t spoil it but let’s say she constructs new sabres from her confrontation with the inquisitors. I’m sure in the series she did same thing but not shown in the show.

10:18 I understand. I think this is supposed to show how far she's come. She's been Anakin's apprentice since she was 14 and had his intense training as we saw in the previous episode. Now, she's 19 years old and has more experience. Plus, the Inquistors are not really that strong. They may appear to be powerful because they've been hunting young Jedi apprentices who haven't completed their training or their connection to the force have been either damage or untouched for awhile, similiar Cal from the Star Wars game or Obi-Wan from his show or just exploit them. Also, Inquistors are not that powerful. They may look tough, but their not really powerful, it's basically similar to where Darth Vader easily mop the floors with Reva.

And Rex Says Lets see if all that Training Pays Off. That Is The Last Episode of the Season. And the End of the War. ( IE. Order 66) And Then In this Episode She Has No Saber's ( Because of what Happens in the Last Episode of season 7 of the Clone Wars....Its a great Season. They have 3 Long Arc's ( the First Is Bringing in the Bad Batch, The Second Ahsoka the Last being the Siege Of Mandalore . Ahsoka Has A Crazy Fight With Darth Maul. ) And After Ahsoka Re joins the Fight She Goes by Fulcrum when Contacting Rebel Cells ( Thats Where ''Star Wars Rebels'' starts for her part in that Show anyway)

Please stop complaining about stuff when you haven't seen everything. Asoka was trained by anakin,commands her own clone army,fought ventress,general grievous, fought and beat Darth maul. Her beating a rando inquisitor who's neither sith or jedi that quickly is what's expected. Inquisitors are not sith. It never should have been a contest at all.

The Inquisitors are not Sith; they are (more or less) Dark Jedi (there's a difference) who survived the purge by changing sides and allowing themselves to be corrupted by Sidius. Most Inquisitors are actually just barely above Padawans and rank closer to weak Jedi Knights, because many were recruited during that time (as Padawans). They are purposefully kept weak to keep them from becoming a challenge to a true Sith Lord, whom use them as a means to an end. The most powerful of the Inquisitors aren't out hunting Jedi, they aren't surviving the Grand Inquisitor-who in turn, serves Vador. Ahsoka outranks all of them in combat skill, experience, ingenuity, military strategy, and connection to the force. The only "challenge" would be the Grand Inquisitor himself.

Stupid Agent Inquisitor! He went in this Planet to avenge his friend Sixth Brother's death because Ahsoka killed him in Ahsoka novel. This novel and this episode was the 18th birthday of Ahsoka because she must make justice for Anakin, for Padme, for Leia and even Obi-Wan and Luke that Bail told her. But Ahsoka didn't know that what Anakin really doing and she didn't know that he is on Lothal to take care of Ezra. I'm glad that Ahsoka was at Padme's funeral and i want to see her reaction when she will sense Anakin dies in the arms of Luke before she will meet him five years before the Mandalorian.

Wrestling, fencing, capoeira, boxing are some popular non-Asian martial arts. 8:37 Are you not watching Andor?! The idea of the Empire being the heroes hasn't really been explored because we've seen the story from the point of view from terrorists, though George Lucas didn't call him that, he called them the Rebel Alliance. We also saw Star Wars from the middle of the story, and there was no story during the birth of the Empire until the Bad Batch, which you should also watch if you want to see how people see the Empire. Regarding Asian Jedi, didn't you comment on Jedi Master Minas Velti during the Obi-Wan series on your channel? we see her protecting younglings during Order 66 in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney Plus series. Depa Billaba was a Jedi Master Council Member in the prequels, Clone Wars and the Bad Batch--her actress is South Asian. Boltar Swan a human Jedi of Asian descent is scene in the battle of Geonosis in AotC. Sifo-Dyas was also an Asian Jedi Master. He's the guy who ordered the Clone Troopers. His design is Asian and he apparently was based on Warren Fu, an artist working on Star Wars back then. It would have been nice to see him on screen for long periods of time like all the other Jedi, no doubt, but we did get an Asian Jedi. Fifth Brother, the Inquisitors in Obi-Wan, is Asian played by Sung Kang--inquisitors were former Jedi. Satele Shan of video game lore is a bit of a legend, surely you've seen her in action from old KOTOR videos from years ago on KZbin that still hold up. There have been a lot of Asian Jedi, actually. They might not have gotten very large roles, but they are around and have been for a very long time. Depa Billaba is likely the most well known Asian Jedi since she's in the prequels right up until Bad Batch.

I know this doesn't mean anything really in terms of representation, but in attack of the clones, during the scene where they're in the coliseum fighting the monsters, Mace windu comes to the rescue with some jedi to fight the bug people. In this group of jedi, its just a moment, but there is a very lovely jedi asian lady :) again, i know it doesn't mean anything really, and i wish they'd bring in more asian representation as well because there's so much talent and authenticity!

You guys didn't watch clone wars or rebels to fully understand Asoka. In season 7 Asoka left her light Saber to show she was dead that why the inquistor said yo were suppose to be dead. The lighter Saber she takes from him be come her new saber after she purifies the crystal. At the end Organa asked if she ready to fight again and she becomes volcrum in Rebels. You talk about expanding star wars universe but without watch those two shows you can't fully understand tales of the jedi. You should react to those 2 and bad batch. All three are very good.

My hope is we get an epic story someday soon (Old Republic, High Republic or post-Episode 9 era) in which the lead is Asian (SEA, EA, India, etc). We're seeing some great Hispanic representation in Andor/Rogue One. Obviously find the best actor/actress for the job but it's okay to start casting with a under represented ethnicity in mind for the lead role. I mean FFS, how is Hiroyuki Sanada not a Jedi Master in some live-action Star Wars content? Imagine the acting, the screen presence and the lightsaber fight scenes. Let's get say Claudia Kim as a Jedi Knight in Star Wars. Steven Yeun in Star Wars please. Simu is a duh. Andrew Koji (or really anyone from 'Warriors'). If we're talking Happa there's Maggie Q, Elodie Yung, let's get Chloe Bennet that 'Doctor Aphra' series, a favorite of mine would be Jessica Henwick and Karen Fukuhara from The Boys. And that's mainly all women, there are a ton of great actors out there too. And not just attractive people, not just young people, not just Happa, and not just American (South Korea has a lot of talent to hire from their industry).
