when april shows the turtles the book about kavaxas, there is an illustration of him and its a drawing of the 80s hotdead action figure; also the way karai was snake biting tatsu was savage XD

Since Kavaxas is voiced by Mark Hamill, I seriously kept waiting for him to do the Joker laugh or say a line from Star Wars or Batman but it never happened. I still love this character though. He's so awesome.

Was it just me, or did anyone else notice that Tatsu's helmet kind of looked like the ultimate ninja's helmet in the 2003 tmnt series? Just me? Okay.....😪😪😪

LG8 STUDIOS I mean, I am not sure if it appeals with Ultimate Ninja (aka Ue-Sama), but Tatsu's mask is based off of the japanese monster, Oni, which is an ogre, troll, demon, or devil from Japanese mythology actually. But anyways, I do agree that it did gave me the 2003 vibes seeing Tatsu's Oni mask.

There was the reference to Peter Venkman in one episode in the Statue of Liberty. Also the comics crossover from IDW. There can easily be an animated crossover. Andre have you read either the TMNT comic or Ghostbusters comic by IDW? Both are fantastic.

I liked most everything in these eps, so I'll nit not on the eps proper, but on Space Heroes TNG. The Kirk-expy in Space Heroes TOS was a fair flanderization of KIrk, parodying and exaggerating his key personality traits. But the Picard-expy--I dunno. You'd expect him to be so hesitant and analytical, crew members die while he decides something. Instead, he's like other Kirk parodies, blood thirsty and dismissive. I guess that's a parody too, but so far TMNT's shows-within have played up what actually happened on the old series in question. Also, did they at least get Wil Wheaton to voice his own parody? He told Robot Chicken he would have.
