When your Link Gauge is in Overlimit, you can perform consecutive Link Artes. In my case, my Jude's set up was X for Demon Fist, Up-X for Beast, and Forward-X for Cerberus Strike so when in Overlimit, I just pressed Forward-X, Up-X, then X for a simple chain. That chain gutted Nactigal's life to a half including Jude's Final Fury. Hope this helps too :)

Turns out that some link artes get some extra effects after X number of uses just like some normal artes. I'd give much respect to the person who uses a link arte 9999 times, and even more respect to the person who uses EVERY link arte 9999 times.

While in battle, select a partner to link with, You can check the Artes that are compatible with your link partner. Let's say you're Jude and your Link Partner is Rowen, some of your compatible Artes (well that's what I call them) are Demon Fist, Beast, and Cerberus Strike. When your Link Artes Gauge starts to blink in battle, you can now perform a Link Arte by pressing R2 when the icon appears on your character after performing a compatible Arte. @thebugandthebad098 The link bar. For every piece of it (a small black line) you fill, you can use a link arte. When it's full, the next link arte you use will trigger overlimit mode, which allows you to use as many link artes as possible (until the bar is empty) I'm guessing the name, but that pretty much explain its function.

My favorite linked artes always are Milla/Alvin (by far), Milla/Jude and Milla/Rowen (yes, I love Milla) but Rowen/Elize are pretty awesome too

Hi, can someone please walk me through step by step about how to do a linked artes move, I have linked to characters together but can't seem to pull the move off and was wondering if it was something I was doing wrong in the artes menu, thanks

Thank you so much for you're replies, I am stuck near the beginning f the game where you have to clear the monsters from by the lake, and the overlimit is full, but I could not pull the move off so I could not kill the monsters, I was considering skipping the tutorial as I had tried it a few times and could not beat it, but i want to learn how to play the game and was not sure if it would let me past it anyway, I did not know to press the R2 button so thanks again for your help, much appreciated

3:13 I thought I noticed something about splash line! I'm not sure why but whenever I do splash line Jude kicks the bottle after the initial attack and sends additional shock waves. I don't know if it's a skill or if it's from using the link arte a certain number of times but it made me wonder if it's possible that link artes get extensions at some point.

I love Shouha Juumonji,Stop Flow and Guardian Frost. Link Artes is awesome but it a bit boring because Jude+Milla have more link artes than others and link artes with both of them have more than the others link each other. Man! I want more Alvin+Leia I hope if namco add more link artes if they localized it.

ok one question: Whats that bar on the side with the X on the top? It looks like it fills up when attacked, glows gold, and then goes back down. The only thing ive really notices about this is that link artes frequency seems to go up.
