Missed you Gayna. I have not been on KZbin for a bit. Busy packing and purging our home, as we are moving a week before Christmas 🎄 ❤💫 downsizing from three floors to one ! It feels great though !i haven’t been knitting either, and it will be nice to relax , once we are settled in. Take care . Enjoy your Holidays

Oh, downsizing is hard! We've done it a couple of times (they were hard times and we had to move in a hurry, one move was on the first day of the first lockdown). When we moved here, we had to start again with new furniture, that was a pleasant experience! Except gor the living room furniture, for which we waited almost 4 months and then when the second sofa arrived, it was the wrong one and much cheaper than the one we ordered. Everything is great now and we are in our third tear here and very settled, so I hope uou will enjoy your new place, when it happens and that your move goes smoothly!

Gayna, I'm so sorry about Lyn's passing. I do take the time to read most of the comments and remember hers. We are all part of a community. As for knitting, I've knitted 3 Stockholm vests but have never thought to steek them. Best wishes to sweet Franka on her recovery. How about doing a blanket stitch around the vest to hide the dodgey bits?

It's funny to me, the different names for things between Canada and the UK. The lovely cream garment you made I would call a vest, but a vest to you is an undershirt to me. Hi Gayna, when altering your wrapover dress from front to back dont forget the sleeves need to be switched around too as the front sleeves are always shaped in whereas the backs arent xx

I hope your friend is soon home from hospital, you are a lovely friend to visit so regularly! Good luck with having the lump removed ftom your back, i think the one at the base of my neck is similar. They didn't want to operate on mine because they said it's not life threatening and i was told i could loose the use if an arm. It sounds as though it's in an awkward place. So i decided to leave it, however, my youngest daughter reckons it's still growing.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Lyn. My condolences to her husband. It's always so sad to lose someone but especially so right here at the holiday season. I look forward to vlogmas and watching you decorate. I'm wondering how old Margo is. I have a little Jack Russell mix who will turn 17 on Christmas Day and he was a runt so I named him Tiny Tim. But we've had a rough week and I'm not sure he is going to make it😢 I know it's inevitable but I just don't think I'll be able to bear it. He came to live with me a few months after losing my husband and has meant the world to me. He helped heal me. I know I'm blessed to have had him for so many years but that is not going to make it any easier 😔

I had a thing for fisherman rib way back, I don’t know why, just liked the sponginess of it😅 made a cardigan and a jumper, I think i might still have them somewhere! Your cardigan I’m sure is going to turn out beautifully. I am all socked out! I have made 8 pairs as Christmas gift’s and now onto scrubbies also gifts, just discovered them and they are quite addictive to knit🤪 so sorry that Franca is still in hospital any improvement? I hope so. Richard, I hope you are watching this vlog. I am so sorry for your loss and I hope it gives you some solace that she will be missed by us. We might not know each other but we do care. The same goes for Franca. During lockdown you always met with her each on your own side of the hedge. It made me always think of Wilson of the series Home Improvement and it made me laugh. Hi Gayna I could tell straight away you had a cold. Have you tried Vick rubbed on the soles of your feet and a pair of socks at bedtime for your cough, sounds strange but believe me it works.
