This is either the PS3 or PC version. Either way, they have almost zero cel-shading. Most of the textures also received an update too. The PC version allows for a mod that re-enables cel-shading and fixes a few other things.

@@supergohansonic Satire? Believe me i take 5 Dezels for every one of them. They have no redemption, they deserve the most painfully slowest death possible. They lost the right to be called humans. there Charakter arcs are that they are the worst scum and because the groups not executes them as they can they poison the groups with there lies until the end of the games. If you really think Kratos or Alvin deserve another chance u can also give Hitler and Judas another chance as well.

I always thought the Kratos route was supposed to be the canon one since it's the odd one out (spoilers) and focuses the most on Lloyd. It's also one of the harder routes to get in some of the ports (very difficult on your first playthrough) so you assume there's something special about it. Kind of disappointed it didn't turn out to be the case in the anime.

Also sucks that it leads to having to kill Zelos... for some reason. While I will fully admit I did not like Zelos at first, he grew on me real quick and my respect for him skyrocketed in Dawn of the New World. Although I didn't find this one overly hard to access. I made another save to see who was lined up for this scene. Much to my surprise, Kratos was the second one to show up (not so surprisingly, the first was Colette). And so far he's been in every lineup since even when I didn't really do anything to raise his affinity at all; at this point I'm about convinced that he's programmed to be one of the potential 4 scenes no matter what.

If you've only played the Gamecube version like I did he shows up in your lineup of people no matter how close you are. I mentioned ports because he doesn't show up if he isn't at least in your top 3 in the PS2 and PS3 versions, a little tough to get when he's mostly only in your party for the first quarter.

That I did not know... I've been playing the original because I don't have anything that can run a port right now (I do have the PC version, but my computer is an utter potato and can't really handle it for more than 15 minutes at a time). That said, it's still worlds easier than Zelos or Presea (the latter of who I have NEVER even had in the lineup) XD. Heck, even outside your party you can still do things to boost or lower his standing such as making certain replies to a few things Zelos says, or going to an optional skit point that happens to be nor far outside of Flanoir itself.

I assumed Colette's must be canon because their scene is basically spoiled for you in the game opening animation. Besides, it'd be too sad for Zelos's death to be canon. I hated him in the beginning, but now he's one of my faves. Such a tragic character. I think Zelos feels the most "real" out of all of the characters, if that makes sense.

yes, but it is very hard. You basically have to pick choices that she doesn't agree with and constantly cook dishes that use an ingredient she hates. (I think it is Pickles? but idk some guide probably has that written down). If you cook using ingredients a character hates, they lose 1 point in Affection. Which isn't a lot so you need to be cooking a lot to lower Colette's affection

Hi there uh me again i have another question about this...i just pasted the flanoir scene on my "first" play though of the game and my "first" i mean PS3 ive played this many times on the Gamecube but that was sometime ago so now im wondering... can you not get Kratos on your first go? as if i remember correctly it doesn't matter whom the first 3 are you just refuse all 3 and you get this scene...however in an attempt to do so i didnt get the option on the third person...so with that said did they change that? or am i rememering things wrong? or is it just second play though and up? as it has been many years since i last played though the game as i lost my gamecube version also thanks for the casino help ive gotten about half of what i need now :3

Kratos has to be at least 3rd on your affection for him to show up as of PS2. You can still get him on your first run.

cymonique matthew depending on the friendship points you develop with each party member they will knock on your door when you're in Flanoir (the night before they go to Derris-Kharlan). You get up to three knocks from different party members if you refuse any of them and I do believe if you refuse all three Kratos will call out to Lloyd (possibly depending on your friendship points with him as well but I've hardly had trouble with him). However, keep in mind if you do go with Kratos' scene you will lose Zelos as a party member.

Actually, you have to refuse to talk to anyone when you get to this scene in Flanoir. After that, Kratos shows up.

Also, be sure to take advantage of the Training With Kratos scenes at Inns. I think they begin when you first get to Palmacosta, so after every major event try resting at an inn. There's maybe 3 or 4, but rest everywhere you can. This will score you some points with him. Also, in story events when you have choices to make, make the ones that seem to side along with Kratos' ideas while he's on your team. For instance, Colette and Genis totally have do-gooder intentions for every situation, while Raine and Kratos are generally objective and will have more realistic ideas of what choices need to be made. The game pretty much traps you into trying to hook up with Colette, so avoid her as much as possible. Whenever Kratos is an opposing force, make choices that imply that you still trust him. When you instances where your team has to split up, like at Kvar's ranch, put him on your team. It's easy to get him on your side, you just have to be rational in your choices and not so much of a knight in shining armor.

Kratos is a human with an extended lifespan due to angelification.
