To be fair, by the law of good game design it HAS to work out when he does it, barring story deaths. Otherwise, there wouldn't much of a game for anyone who isn't already an absolute gigachad. Canonically, a few pistol shots to the head can quickly kill a Krogan, but if Wrex or Grunt went down like that in gameplay it'd drive you up a wall.

There are some cases in which you round down to the nearest whole number. Or the opposite may sometimes be used where they round up despite the fact that it's .1 (less than 5).

As soon as you reach omega for the first time, use the save editor to make Legion "recruited" and "selectable". No bug, works like a charm. When the times come to go on the dead reaper, edit the save to uncheck the boxes "recruited" and "selectable" so that you can have the activation scene and all the talks with Legion. You can even do Legion's personal mission earlier.

Legion has the most accurate number of instances a day that Shepard sends his crew on what others would call a suicide mission. Everyone else says "twice a day", Legion pretty much says 3 times a day.

The annoying thing about ME2 and Legion is that after you recruit him, you've only got time to do his loyalty mission then the ship through the Omega 4, otherwise the crew gets mushed down into Reaper paste.

I love how unlikely it is to have Legion and still be at a point of recruiting (I guess if you don't know the "order of operations or have specifics in mind, makes sense), and there's still all the unique bits of Legion dialogue!
