"Erm Gus Halper's Talia was better than Chaz Duffy's in the cast recording" say what you want but we are absolutely SLEEPING on this version it's actually amazing (the long notes after 1:20 are actually INCREDIBLE???) Also, even though I do not support the discrimination faced towards Yannick in the McCarter version whatsoever being a disabled person myself, the McCarter version of Talia with Eli Mayer as Mischa is absolutely GORGEOUS, and is definitely worth a listen

People need to wholeheartedly accept that every Mischa actor is equally superior as Gus Halper's! I'm pretty sure Chaz and Adam needs much more recognition for their performance, especially Chaz's amazing belt in the soundtrack. 🙁Also I heavily agree with you for McCarter's version, Eli's vocals are incredible!

@@jordanschlais17 i hate how much hate ALL the mischa actors get, its like the fans make them fight for the best mischa role title, like and then people complain how they didnt add as much character when it’s their own way to decide how to play mischa..their all so picky!

I love Adam standley and Gus halpers talias so much, the power in their voices and the emotion they express, personally I really dislike the album version with Chaz Duffy because his voice isn’t quite as strong and the emotion just isn’t there like it is in Gus halper and Adam standley’s because omfg the pure sadness, love and rage in the belt for both of them is just perfect

the cast recording didnt do him as well, the live audio recording i heard is much better

@@WHICHSALEM The whole album wasn’t great, I hate Uranium suite, Ricky and Mischa’s songs don’t sound great, all of the songs were lacking emotion compared to the live recordings which yeah I understand it’s an album not a live recording but when you remove the emotion you remove the intent and story of the song, and in general it felt off. The thing that annoys me it that I know they could’ve done better because I’ve heard musicals that were even more difficult to transfer to an album that still nailed it perfectly like Falsettos or even Hamilton.

Hamilton and Falsettos were probably harder to transfer to an album.. and the cast recording (or album thing I forgot what it was called) had so much potential :( I have nothing against Chaz Duffy. I think his Mischa is great! But it is undeniable that Gus Harper and Adam Standley’s Mischas are better. Also, they did “This song is awesome” DIRTY! I don’t know what it is but it just sounds so terrible! Which sucks because it’s a fire song
