707whiteboy1 Actually you’re correct and I do love a lot of the underground artists. Guys like Skyzoo, Elzhi, Roc Marciano, Reks, etc. What I was actually trying to say is that the younger generation doesn’t care about those that are making great art, and that’s hurt the credibility of the music in some ways.

yeah it's crazy cause J Dilla started to become known in 2000-2005 while he was making a lot of songs for people in the 90s (tribe, pharcyde, busta just to name a few).

The first time I ever heard this song was back in 2002. I was at Swap Shop in Fort. Lauderdale, Florida. My mom bought my first Air Force 2's. I was so happy and she ended up buying me some bootleg CD's and this was one of them. Sad that those days will never come back. #GreatFloridaMemories

I miss 2000. I was only 5/6 but I still remember it clearly. Technology was advanced enough to be dope and helpful, but it hadn't taken over the world yet. Mid nineties to early 2000's was the peak big society

Hip Hop Golden Age. 93-05 for sure
@neox93697 жыл бұрын
05, not at all but certainly better than the relic of what we have now. However 04/05 marked the official southern takeover and NY mysteriously fell into the background. I was 17 in 05 and I was already listening to hip hop from 91 to 98. I would say it peaked and was stagnant by 2000/01, then something happened.....
@jasonpalacios27057 жыл бұрын
thirdlawson1979 Actually I say it was from 89-02 were the golden years of hip-hop. From 03 onwards it went downhill.
