I was shocked at how fun Pandaria Remix was. Love that they are doing it again. I maxed every class even, bought all cosmetics and mounts. Very excited for the next one. Excellent suggestions for the next remix. I would love to unlock account-wide xmogs for all my artifact weapons, which I can't really do right now.

Yeah, I totally agree. I started Legion a little bit late by the time I got into it my guild was already pushing to do raids and stuff so I just kind of rushed through the quest lines and did some catch-up stuff to get my gear and item level high enough to do The Raids. So I always felt like the Legion was really cool, but I felt personally shortchanged like I got a half assed experience. There are so many different looks that I never obtained.. hopefully if they do remix, I’ll be able to jump in there and scoop up a lot of stuff that I missed

They're currently part of the model, but we have seen some npc outfits turned into transmogs lately, so I have no doubt Blizz can do it now. Some of the weapons are already available on the Legion timewalking vendor, though.

Fit perfectly how, Dracthyr were all in stasis/alseep during Legion. Wyrmrest temple has nothing to do with Dracthyr. Their order hall should be in the Forbidden reach somewhere. Maybe the buildings where we freed the Augmentation dragon (forgot her name). Make use of the new Teleport rings we unlocked in DF.

Their order hall could be Timeways. They are connected to bronze flight by their draconic origin and given that Infinites are sending us back in time, they could house evokers in Timeways, because they were not around at the time.

Legion was the first time I mained a druid tank and I would love to feel that joy that MoP remix gave me once again. That first day in remix, I hadnt had so much fun in WoW in a long time, ended up staying up all night before I'd even realised it!

I'm not so sure that we'll get all of the mage tower appearances. Mists remix didn't allow us to get the challenge mode appearances, not for class sets, weapons or mounts. We did, however, get a recolor of those mounts, different class armors and weapons. I could see the same mage tower appearances not being available, but, we'll get recolors of our tier 2 armors, maybe a unique recolor of those mage tower appearances, just to distinguish the difference between og and remix, and maybe something else. These are my thoughts anyway.

Exactly. This is what my guild has all recommended use the artifact weapon as your new time cloak thing. If they don't want to give it the talent tree stuff back just have your artifact weapon as your big stat stick for the remix is totally fine. It would make your artifact weapon feel powerful and get people who missed legion a good feel of how amazing the weapons felt at the time.

If the weapons were to return, and played exactly like the cloak did, it'd be nothing more than a simulacra. The power from those weapons came from the relics and the talent nodes.

I agree with you 99% Taliesin. You are hitting all the right notes. A single currency was great, in my opinion. The feel bad of sacrificing vendor items to level gear was only real at launch when we got less bronze. When they upped the acquisition of bronze, I started a new character, maxed out their gear, and bought every vendor item in only 2 weeks. Still had nearly 2 months of time left to play god as a Demon Hunter with max speed. I could solo any content carrying friends and strangers in raid world tours. For simplicity, I would prefer only one currency and a promised freedom that I will be able to get everything. In terms of gear and gems, I didn't hate it. But I also won't be sad if it is gone. However, your idea of putting all of it in the artifact weapon is brilliant. Gear ilvl passively growing with artifact power is great! But let's take things a step further. Genshin Impact allows you to change the difficulty of the world, similar to how wow scales raid and dungeon difficulty. I want the freedom to gain infinite artifact power and have no cap to my gear ilvl. As I grow to god hood, I want the ability to tick up a scale to make the world harder. Loot is multiplied by the difficulty you are set to. I had forgotten about Legendaries. What if you could wear any class Legendary and we use class gems to aquire the spell necessary for the legendary? Original legion was single class focused making you the best mage or warrior. But remix could dip into multiclassing through legendaries and gems. Bronze -> Felmeralds

TBH, this is my main disagreement with Taliesin in this video. If Blizzard wants to bring the Mage Tower appearances back (and I reckon they should), they should make them a reward from the Mage Tower in the main game again, and not tie them to a time-limited event like Remix. Just my two cents.

I remember hours of plaguelands fishing for the ret secret appearance of corrupted ashbringer: Let people buy it for bronze. I still have the memory, fishing with other paladins - that doesn't go away. I don't want legion remix to add to the fomo for collectors like myself going "I need X time of remix for rng or dying in mage tower when there is so much to unlock" I got everything in pandaria remix (bar a couple mounts or the tusks - playing solo and didn't use bronze to upgrade enough to solo raids) but it was pretty close to the end. I'd like it to be a lil more comfortable / generous. Cheers for the video, love the idea of the artifacts having the player power all juiced into them in one go ❤

For an evoker order hall, we're doing all this with bronze dragons...our order hall could just be in the bronze timeway or something, and the portals take us to each zone! With some dedication, maybe we'll get our own stories and legendaries for each spec and not just shafted with 1 for all 3. I'd be pissed if druid had 4 while i was stuck with 1

It would take a ton of work so it likely won't be done, but honestly I think it would be amazing to actually create a Dracthyr order hall for Legion Remix. You can create any class that currently exists for remix content, and the people wanting to level an Evoker being the only ones who miss out on the fun of order halls would be just another reason for people to not play them. If we use the Bronze Dragonflight as our entry into Remix content like in Pandaria Remix, then they can just tie in the Dracthyr order hall that way, having the Bronze Dragonflight sending them back to achieve something important during this time and operating out of some reused location from Dragonflight like the central platform of the Murozond Megadungeon. This justification also means the order hall could then be transplanted into the main game afterwards for regular Legion content. And speaking of unlikely things, I really hope we get a surprise Tinker Class at some point in The War Within. In that case, a Tinker Order Hall would be awesome as well. Maybe in Mimiron's Workshop?

I will say that I understand the Bronze dual purpose and mostly agree with it once they made earning bronze from more casual activities functional. I leveled lots of alts to level cap and then parked them. I earned all the bronze I needed for rewards by doing that without engaging with heroic/mythic raid content. I think it's a positive to have that option, but it maybe wasn't clear enough that the option existed.

In MoP, there is a super rare drop in siege of orgrimmar that only drops for shamans: the dark kor’kron shaman vestments. Took me years of grinding just to get it. In MoP remix, you could not only buy the same armor but also buy 2 new recolors as well and they are all 3 usable by any classes (before they were shaman only). And honestly I am extremely happy they did that. With whatever remix they choose to do (still hoping for a WoD remix) I think any super rare transmogs should be available and also have a few recolors to them so that way if you already have it you can still get something nice and new and cool

I was really hoping on WoD Remix focussed on all the dropped Shattrath content. There was SO much potential around that area that all got dropped during the expansion. Though I guess it'd be too expensive for Blizz to try and fix that now.

Taliesin, one fundamental difference between Pandaria and Legeion is Mage Tower and Artifact appearances. And that includes actually earning the appearance and doing the battle on the spec required. I think that is vital for Legion Remix and should be included. And to make it possible there are 2 probable solutions: a) they let us play with our normal characters and much the less desirable alternative b) they keep the Panda system and we make a new character and buy all the artifact appearances in a deterministic way.

I had no idea this was coming, I haven't been able to pay attention to the updates. It's great to hear of a legion remix! I personally would love to see mage tower appearances purchasable for players who participate. I think 8 years is long enough to enjoy exclusivity. I have all of them from the mage tower, and I would like to see people enjoy what they like rather than show off their skill in a game. It's exciting to see it coming, Legion was a really really fun expansions and slight changes would make it even better like you suggested. Legendary vendors from the start and artifact weapons leveling together would be incredible.

I've got quite a few of the mage tower appearances from legion, but I think it would be good to make them available to everyone at this point. It would make Legion Remix all that more exciting for everyone to participate in, and I think it would have an overall positive effect on the wow community. I've had instances where I was running around in my sparkly druid cat form and was whispered by someone asking how they can get it for themselves, only having to tell them that it was no longer obtainable. I could tell how disappointed they were to find that out. Let's open them up for everyone and just have fun with it.

Love every idea you have for this, I hope it winds up exactly like this. As for Mage Tower, I agree it’d either be trivialized or become an obstacle counter to the idea of Remix collecting. I think it’d be best to leave it in and let it be trivial for people to experience some of the fights for classes/specs they aren’t masters of, and just let the appearance unlocks that go with them be available for all classes after doing it once. They already made new alternate appearances for the revamped Mage Tower; those can be the new prestige appearances.

I like your suggestion for secondary currencies in addition to bronze, and I think that right there should be your answer for the Mage Tower appearances. Earn currency film the tower, don't change the difficulty, just make the currency earned from it a small amount and the appearances pricey. And maybe cap the number of runs and currency earned per week.

My idea for a Remix Mage Tower: doing a challenge unlocks all of the associated appearances. E.g., completing Xylem gets you Survival, Frost DK, Havoc, Arms, and Subtlety. And yeah, make them recolors of the originals to keep those as prestige items, but new colors for them so you're not locked out of some cool looking gear.

Wherever the infinite dragons and the bronze show up (probably within dalaran) that spacetime bubble that theyd exist in could double as the evoker "orderhall" location in this line of thought where the bronze would give them an artifact off the bat. just like how from an outside perspective they people would look like the citizens wandering dalaran from within theyd be timewalkers or something like that.

The upgrading and item buying should definitely have been two currenices...and considering there's two time-based flights involved there was no real good reason that next time they could use Bronze coins to buy items, and Inifite coins to upgrade gear. Or visa versa, who cares, imo, that would work pretty well. Both drop from everything you do, why not! It's a Remix!

I really hope they do accountwide progression for gear upgrades, especially since there's so much class specific content in Legion. People are going to want to be using this as an opportunity to do things like unlocking class mounts or seeing class campaigns they never did, but won't want to start over on a weak character if their remix main is already super powerful.

if an appearance is really rare, they could put it out again but with a different name, or just put "replica" at the end of the name, so anyone could inspect you and see if you had the original or not

Artifact Legion system was so much better than the azerite neckless if the Artifact power system was back in remix. I 100% would play it.

Loving your ideas for this and really hoping Blizz have similar thoughts and plans!! Hyped for Artifact weapon possibilities!! Another thing i'd really love to see is at least the other 2 Elf races given the Demon hunter Class! I think Void Elf DH's and Nightborne DH's would be an awesome addition!! - If they chose to also include other races too i'd be super happy too lol but the Elf races would be great by themselves! Demon Hunters customisation need more love from Blizz ;)

Tali i'll discord from you in some aspects: 1: Mage Tower could return with some kind of "stat template" so we just don't one-shot everything. It would be hard to balance since we won't have stat gains from gear farm (I myself just got to finish those fight with 7.3 gear), but I think is doable. 2: I think not every appearance should be buyable with bronze, but rewarded via achievs. Legion have so much content that many players could miss some of it (like deaths of chromie, withered scenario, the suramar endgame campaign), so I think put some of the rewards on them could be a great way to guide the players to that content. There are many stuff in Legion that i could have missed it if wasn't for the artifact appearances.

A Bronze Dragonflight and an Infinite Dragonflight skin for all of the existing Artifact models would be awesome. That plus re-enabling the time-gated models that we can't unlock at the moment would guarantee me time-sinking this game mode.

Listen I've always been a bear main and always will, I was young and stupid at the time of legion and didnt got my mage tower werebear apparence, its been years of frustration since then, you have no idea how much hope I put into legion remix to give us recolors of those werebears (not the crappy felbear/0 challenge RNG runebear)

I hope the overpoweredness they give us in legion remix is related to our classes/ characters and their abilities. When people had really high gems in remix, it took away from the unique and great class design. It felt bad to play an arms warrior and get into execute just to see an enemy explode because of someones gem. The most fun gems in my opinion as a dps were the ones that did damage to you for a benefit paired with the vengeance gem. A fury warrior could leverage their innate self sustain to do more damage. In all i just hope they really focus on making their great class design shine while still allowing players to be op Edit: on a further note, it would be great to see them impliment m+ into thia event. Being able to do infinitely scaling content as you also are scaling to arpg numbers sounds amazing.

I hope the class Halls are fully open to start with the table as well. That took longer than a few months to get up and get there. I wonder if class mounts will come back too and be one and done account wide.

Withered Army Training is going to be a dream to do again. I'm so sad we've never gotten anything like it since. That was one of the best Legion features. Oh and I BETTER be able to get those Xavius shoulders. I've farmer Xavius as many times as Tali farmed Garrosh for his, and only ever seen them drop once, and that was for a guildie during our progression 8 years ago.

The mage tower really is a tough topic. i started playing during legion and the cat form you get from it is the only one i got. i'm immensely proud of it because i was certainly a huge wow noob back then but i was determined to obtain the glowing kitty. that being sad i still want to collect more appearances but at the same time i would really miss the challenge for it. the reason the appearance feels so great to use is because of all the effort i put into it. i would be willing to grind my teeth out again for these appearances so i can proudly show off that i mastered the challenge but the progressing gear levels make it really hard to balance it out. my idea: a character that doesn't benefit from the borrowed powers. at the start of your experience you select the type of challenge you want to have: either the regular remix or a remix without said powers which enables the mage tower. still probably not a great idea but what i actually want most from legion remix is a similar feel as back then. of course especially raiding because i really wasn't ready for that type of content and now i wish to get into a mythic raid group after 8 years of maining my feral druid. legion is by far my most favourite expansion out of all in many ways and i really hope they can make the mage tower appearances feel at least a bit more special to everyone instead of being a simple shop option

i love all the ideas! 💜 please let it happen like now.. 👏🏼👏🏼 they should of given us Legion Remix instead of Pluderstorm..hehe...but..i have alot of the appearances but ofc mage tower 😢 but im still missing some hidden ones bc i need to grind em them out more.. but if they were sellable in remix Woohoo 🎉 lol but legion is my favorite expac..i level all toons there..💜 im excited for this!

My Legion regret is not going back to do that Resto Druid Mage tower for that gorgeous staff. I would loooooove the opportunity to get it, even if it was a recolor. I won't hold my breath, but man, I kick myself on the regular for not getting it.
