Talim Combos SoulCaliburVI - Final Update

Here are a lot of Talim combos to get you started on your wind dancing journey! Not every possibility has been recorded but hopefully there is enough information for you to get a little creative! This was recorded after the final update for SoulCalibur VI so every combo should remain up to date.

Thanks for this! Finally Talim is quite fun and satisfying to play again! I remember being so upset when they changed her so badly in SC3 to the point she was hardly useful (she was AMAZING in 2) and then kinda make her a tad better in 4 ... but here in 6 she is fun again! She is more reliable in the speed and damage territory, and her acrobatic moves provide good range and mix-ups!

I think my favorite Talim combo is 66K → BT 8B+K → BT A•A•B: you'll juggle the opponent over her head a couple of times, with the A•A•B landing _just_ before they can hit the ground; the final overhead arc appears to be so shallow that they can hit the ground and get up immediately… and Talim, likewise, can attempt an immediate BT throw - often too quick for an opponent to react, all in one, smooth motion. (So far the only time someone's avoided the grab is if they laid there and rolled backwards. 😛 Not perfect, but fun!) *EDIT:* So I was inspired to practice delaying Talim's 4B[a] last night ('cause I've always had trouble with it), and it seems like 6B•B6 → WNS [K] → 4B[a] → BT A•A•B _also_ offers the chance for an "insta-grab." 🥴 Guess I'll have to make _that_ my go to, then; certainly easier than landing 66K at any rate! (I think it did _slightly_ more damage, too.)

The mixup could work, but they have the chance to lay on the ground or crouch too, so keep that in mind with her other tools to keep them guessing. For example if they crouch your throw do a BT B the next time, or BT 8B+K if you are worried about BT B potentially getting block punished.

also wanted to mention, the reason the BT AAB ender wasn't included in the video was because it's difficult to confirm as 66K hits are unpredictable, two BT 8B+K's is more reliable and safer if it ends up not working. However, it does more damage so if you can confirm it by all means!

Well, since making this initial comment I've gotten used to leading with a counter 6B•B6 which has allowed for more opportunity to deal _"BIG DAMAGE!!"_ as they'd say in _CVS2._ 😏 Finishing with the BT 8B+K has also been useful as a bit of "mix-up/mind game" for those I'd suspect would avoid the grab. I've also been getting more practice in with her Soul Charge strings… and I recently dressed her up as Starfire from the _Teen Titans_ which has made playing her extra fun! 😋 (I've got Amy dressed as Raven, too.)

@@Amesang the 6BB CH combo is in here a few times, if you mean 6BB 6 WNS [K], 4B[a]... I dont like BT 8B+K there because it pushes them too far away for oki and also does less damage than the BT AAB ender for this particular combo route

for some odd reason when i do 44b 6 wns k instead of her continuing the combo she just falls flat on her back need help

i think some of the clips might've gotten some static but it might also just be the lo-fi ambient noises, the small sections where the music is silent sounds fine to me

these notations are universal to playing soulcalibur on any platform, and your button layout might be different than mine or another persons so "triangle, square, x, circle" can be anything theoretically and wouldn't be great to make a video with. I reccommend taking a look at her movelist if you haven't already to learn her moves individually before learning combos
