We also have AP courses in the maths and sciences and those who excel in these areas, demonstrating consistent academic excellence in these courses, often combined with work-study in these fields... Are also given what might be called even more substantive recognition and commendations in addition to resume and college application building skills and achievements. A prom queen pretty much has a sell-by date of one single night. Academic achievement in the maths and sciences and technical fields... Can establish a career for a lifetime.
