There maybe dry seasons in our life when "WE" can't hear God speaking. I believe God is always speaking, but have we positioned ourselves to hear Him speak. Have we spent time in prayer, fasting, reading His Word and in complete silence to hear God speak, cutting out all distractions..I Pray for all who are waiting to hear from the Lord that as you position yourself to hear Him, He will "talk to you"... that you may have a Divine interaction with God!..It's a beautiful experience. ❤️..Thanks Montell.

This reminds me of my dad. We recently gotten into a fight because about 2 weeks ago, he found out i was self harming and he said he didn’t want me alone anymore. My step mom started getting rid of my clothes while i was away at my mothers house, i decided i wanted more time with my mom so he told me that he will give me what i wanted cause he’s tired of my step mom “being villainized” because me and her can’t get along. He has me for 4 days while my mom has me for 10. Everytime i meet up to go to his house i feel like im not enough and broke his heart. He doesn’t talk to me anymore, neither does my step mom. The only people who talk to me are my siblings but my dad told them not to be alone in a room with me because he’s scared i might rub off on them. idk anymore. “Talk to me, why don’t you talk to me, like you used to” really hits. ❤

Perhaps he’s also simply scared. i remember my parents being frightened when they discovered that i self-harm and that fear translated to distance, which further worsened my situation. But please refrain from looking for evidence that you’re the issue! i’d advice you to try once more to converse with your dad and if he’s not willing to do that, let him go. he’ll come around, i’m certain. if you need someone to talk to, lmk!

I'm at the state where I've lost everything I miss her so much I've restored to doing things to keep me distracted its been 3-4 months and I still think about her and love her in the bottom of my heart when I know sadly she's moving on from me and finding someone to make her happier I just wish I wasn't so dumb and would think about things carefully than just doing. Overthinking has messed up so many things but its a lesson ill learn from and the pain will subside eventually.
