Lunchtime with the Irish Peatland Conservation Council is a series of nine peatland talks that are designed to allow you the viewer, as a member of the public or peatland custodian, explore and discover peatland habitat and biodiversity, the benefits peatlands offer us all and shares methods used to complete a peatland habitat condition assessment, monitor species and restore peatland habitat. This sixth talk focuses on the importance of water in a peatland and how you might assess the hydrology of your local peatland. Lunchtime with the Irish Peatland Conservation Council was made possible with funding support from the Community Foundation for Ireland through their Biodiversity Fund 2020 and the charity are going virtual with support from the Irish Environmental Network.
