OMG I love this. I am half Armenian but sadly I cannot speak Armenian. My mom speaks Western Armenian and most of the education materials out there is in Eastern Armenian. Please do more Western Armenian. It's the ancestral language of many people in the diaspora like me.

Where are these teachers from? They seem to have different body language than Western Armenian speakers I have seen as far as their cadence, gestures and intonations which they don't seem to have. Love this channel!

Hi, Armine is from Lebanon, but she lives in Armenia. You will notice a lot of differences among Western Armenian speakers, as their "Armenian gestures" are influenced by the dominant languages in each respective country.

I didn't notice anything too unusual. Just like in any language there are different accents and ways of speaking. In Armenia does everyone have the same gestures in every region of the country? Don't people in any language/culture, even in the same family, have different gestures depending on their own personality? I thought her intonation and so on was very "normal" from the perspective of how Western Armenian is spoken in the old US diaspora.
