اللهجة المصرية لهجة ربما تكون مختلفة بعض الشئ عن اللهجات في الخليج ولكن اغلب الناس في اغلب الدول العربية يفهمونها بشكل جيد بسبب الأفلام والمسلسلات المصرية التي انتشرت في جميع انحاء الوطن العربي . and if someone likes to learn an only one dialect then go with the egyption one because all the arabs understand it .. love from egypt bro

Egyptian dialect is very interesting. I am Syrian living in Egypt for more than 4 years. I am doing my MA trying to investigate the attitudes of Syrians living in Egypt toward Egyptian Colloquial Arabic , taking into consideration their gender and length of residence. The results are surprising because all Syrians have a clear positive attitude toward ECA . Mike your videos are more than amazing .Thank you for your great effort.
@Amghannam5 жыл бұрын
As an Egyptian, you are welcome in Egypt any time dear Syrian brothers and sisters. Also why is it surprising that Syrians have a positive attitude towards Egyptian Arabic? Likewise Im sure Egyptians would have a positive attitude towards Syrian Arabic.

The word "eshta" قشطة I use it to agree to something, or asking someone if he agrees, or ending a conversation, or being pleased with something Examples: (Agreeing to something) Friend: will we go out tommorow? Me: eshta (ok) (Asking someone) Me: we will go out tomorrow, eshta ? (Ok?) Friend: eshta (ok) (Ending a conversation) Friend: I can't go out tomorrow Me: eshta, no problem (ok) (Being pleased with something) Friend: ok, I'm gonna meet you tomorrow Me: eshta (great) You can use for alot of other things and not only those examples, but it's not necessary to use it, and it might be inappropriate in some cases, it's not a formal way of talking It's better to use "mashy" ماشي or "kowayes" كويس

should have explained that ay ايه is not just a random word they throw in but it means "what" in egyptian arabic, and differently from fusha and most dialect it goes at the end of the sentence or at least after the verb, instead of at the beginning

fesikh is actually really traditional I think it is thousands of years old something we enherited from the pharos 💓 I personally can't stand it though 😂 (renga) Wich is another sort of "pickled" fish is smoked and doesn't have that pungent smell , it is really nice with onions and bread , if you are still I'm Egypt please try it 😎
@mindseeker10885 жыл бұрын
Nice video, Mike😄.. There are also other types of delicious Egyptian food other than Fesikh like Mahshy محشي, Moloukheya ملوخية, Shakshooka شكشوكة, Koshary كُشريand Om Ali أم علي... Those are really some of the best types of food here in Egypt😂.. You should try them. And one of my favourite Egyptian expressions is : (الله ينور) ... بنقولها لما حد يقول أو يعمل حاجة صح أو مضبوطة... We say it when sb says or does the right thing or maybe does sth very well. It expresses our pleasure and agreement with what they said or have done.

My suggestion:- When you create short videos only by yourself &explain one thing or many sentennce you explain it so useful than this especially when you differently explsin one subject. Ok right this is also useful but not like when you are alone explain This just my suggestion I hope good for you. Sorry if my english language not good.
