I enjoy how he now as an elder man is willing to admit his personal perception of himself without being rude down or angry. His lack of outward confidence and self promoting pride is what makes this man so humble and great. I have enjoyed everything he has done. he is famous after all and he is GREAT at what he does. How many of you commenting to this post are as well known and liked as he is? His uniqueness is Inconceivable.

What is so attractive about being liked by lots of people you hardly - or for the most part do not know at all - if you're not doing business with them? Same thing with being well known - why is it such a big deal? Sure, if you're poor and lonely you may feel other wise.

Thank you for this I love Wallace Shawn. Re-reading his “Essays” book its so good. My Dinner with Andre is so philosophically enjoyable. He is an artist through and through who has an awareness of the world few in the mainstream do

I adore Wally Shawn. I once saw him standing on line. in the post office in New York City. I've always regretted not going up and speaking to him

I can understand, I would feel the same way a little bit until I remember that i probably would have fanboyed out on him and I wouldn't want to subject him to my fan insanity

I’m watching Young Sheldon right now for the first time and his role as Dr. John Sturgis is incredible! He’s brilliant in this part. I’m not exaggerating when I say this. He plays a wonderful character with complexity and depth as well as hilarity. I’m shocked he wasn’t nominated for an Emmy! What a shame.

My favorite thing he was ever in is “Just like Dad.” Idk if it was a Disney movie, or a feature films for families movie. But it would come on Disney in the ‘90’s. And man I loved it. I remember even as a kid I was moved by his character as Charlie’s Dad. You can watch in on KZbin on KZbin for free I think.

Why did you keep cutting him off instead of caring about his feelings when he was literally telling you his struggles and things that plague his mind. It seems so rude, disrespectful, and shows a huge lack of compassion. Eww.
