And what's really peculiar is at the time this was considered New age pop lol Believe it or not early '80s this was actually way ahead of its time anything that was synthesized or driven with Simmons drums or a programmed drum track was way way ahead of its time we were just coming out of '70s soul Zeppelin and some of the earliest 1980s and mid to late '70s rock and roll artists so this was actually called Progressive and New Wave at that time

Still relevant in 2024. I can remember many of these moments through the years in my minds eye. A moment, an experience, frozen in time... No smart phone recording in the audience just total connection. We cant think for ourselves anymore. We don't know how to make music anymore. We don't know how to just bask in the glory of the moment. Everything is multi tasking. No wonder depression, mental illness and Alzheimer's is running rampant.

....the creativity of todays music is stand still of musical noise. It goes with the age. Musicians today are uninspired, deterred for fame, glory, money..etc. There's no catapult for wanting to create on larger scale. The 70's/80's generation was a rush of genius creativity. It was music for the people, by the people creating a collective experience. As we can see. when we look back. The further we move away. The more its appreciated. As for myself, more I miss.

It’s criminal that the bass player doesn’t get more screen time, especially on this track with its iconic bassline

The audio wasn't bad back in the day, it's youtube that makes such crappy compression of music and video, plus many people have uploaded poor quality items. When one is better than average it really stands out.

Now, I'm 61! I'm laying on my sofa and listen to this wunderful music! Hey! That was our time! We were young, the world was ours! We dreamt from girls, money and success! The girl ( my wife, I love her all over the world) came, little bit money was coming! Success has taken in! We have all, what we dreamt for! And now I am laying on my sofa and hear this music! I'm 25 years younger, my wife in my arms and we listen to this music! Both of us have tears in our eyes! Our youth is now present! Thank you Talk Talk!🥰🌹😊
