Probably my most favourite drummer to watch - they should’ve had a camera permanently on him at every performance. Energy, style, technique, physique, power & precision and a real magnetic quality. One of the best! 🥁💪🏻

great to hear this very early version of 'Living in another world' ...one of my favourite tracks of theirs. Talk Talk remain one of the most under-appreciated bands of the 80's. Mark Hollis' voice was unique. Paul Webb's bass lines were superb and yes, Lee Harris played some perfectly fitting drum parts.

As a drummer, I really appreciated that he went full out to give the sings the best percussion they needed. "Living in another world", probably my favorite, ( not this version, the studio one ) a great example. Most drummers would play the beat and be done with it. BTW, I stole it and used it myself. Does anyone know what was the precussion sounding motif in "life is what you make it" is? Talking drum?

Hollis became a very private family man who refused to allow the monsters in the music industry machine grind him down…so HE spat them out instead. So, I doubt whether anyone but his family & close friends would ever let the public know of his final resting place and that’s absolutely ok. Enjoy his legacy of music he left behind and let him rest in peace🫶🏻
