Possibly something has changed in the service since this video was made. This app is just like the rest of the low calling fee VOiP apps, no international calling, only free when calling to others who share the same app, calls outside of the Talkatone network cost credits. They do give you 5 credits for starters, one minute per credit of use. As you would imagine, they will kindly sell you additional credits, 60 for $0.99 or $0.0165/minute. Disappointing. I have already uninstalled it.

I have this app. It's amazing. I had to cut my contract and saved a lot of money. Besides I rarely make phone calls so This is perfect because I can call anyone with wifi with no charge, and unlimited text.

I have a problem with this app. When I try to say something the other person can't hear me. When I talk to a home phone caller I can't hear them.

i just downloaded this, and i love it. i live in the sticks, so wi-fi isn't so plentiful outside of my house. :( i still love it. ;)

Thank you So Very much for your video 🤩 I had used Talkatone for approx. 2 Yrs. Then I decided to use Dingtone, that was like "Twilight Zone" to the exponent of infinity!!!! Why when I try to log back into the app and I tap 'get verification code' it never sends the code to my email? It's done it all the time before and now it's not working?

try deleting the app and reinstalling it may help good luck

Talkatone is over 11 years old....? No wonder it's slow as hell and takes minutes to connect to mobile or Wi-Fi even if you're phone is connected. Sloooow as hell.
