I agree with everything you've said about the song Guns Are Loaded. I consider it to be motivational in the sense of "Look at all this damage. If you take action against people being bigoted towards you, people may consider you to be the abuser, but you're really the abused." It's also when you need to disappoint others for your own sanity. In this album, I feel like all the songs can relate to a hypothetical dictator and the personality of a dictator. It mentions "ego" in various songs, and maybe Daron sought out inspiration from his feelings towards band members and creative differences, but lacking ego can be influential in the rise of authoritarianism. The line "I've seen many friends destroyed by ego" may not be as literal, because the consciousness and awareness of the dictator and the lack of consciousness of the friend can be destroying what this friend used to be. It's really interesting to analyze.

That's a really interesting point that you bring up. True, that Daron brings up ego a lot. A line that's especially stands out for me is from 'Til the end, with: "I am so happy, that you with me It just feels good to be free There is no egos It's just you and it's just me" The notion that we always hide behind our egos is imo very true.

I have the feeling that "Dictator" is addressing specifically to somewhere. I can't justify it though, just my feeling. I agree that "Till the end" is about feelings between people but I think it's not about a friendship. You don't say to best friends "There's no egos , it's just you and it's just me". Maybe I'm wrong.

Interesting, in my opinion Dictator is talking about authoritarianism in general, since in politology it's a pretty much universal concept. I am glad you liked the vid, thank you!
