The saddest part is that they're kinda right about their flaws. But that's just life I guess, everyone has flaws. It's interesting that to them it's a giant flaw, but to us it's like 'oh I guess that's true sometimes but I never noticed it really'. We could all take a lesson from that.

I wanna see a ross solo stream on some really high octane or tense game (though not horror, i wont watch that), and I dont care if hes good at it or not. Ideally something with quickish rounds, so that he can interact with chat between the activity, therefore giving him regular conversation topics. I think he worries too much, he has a natural charisma that an active audience and a game with lots of energy would facilitate.
@shotmeonsightplease6 жыл бұрын
And to be honest, if you don't feel that you can stream because you are bad at games, then focus on something else while streaming. Bad at game, but great at interacting with viewers/chat? That appeals to a lot of people! Another thing that will attract people is helping you figure out a game. Admit you are bad and ask people for help in improving, it will be a great stream for everyone. You won't know if you don't try however. I miss the informal solo-streams they used to have from time to time :(

14:28 this got really sad, the music too was really sombre. I feel like we might be part of the reason why Ross says one of his main flaws is self confidence. Years of people in the comments saying "WOW Ross sucks so much at these games" I'm glad I've learnt with age to appreciate these guys not for the gameplay but the commentary. That's what I idolise about these lads, how well they mesh together and work off of eachother. So many years and they still have so much to talk about You boys are my favourite channel on youtube, and your charisma is something I personally aspire to achieve some day

I remember one stream where he thanked people for the appreciation they're expressed... because he took the time to rebind some useful function to a handy hotkey. Then he put it in perspective by saying "People usually tell me to kill myself because of how bad I am at video games, so I'll take compliments where I can". It was heartbreaking.

Please continue this series. Also, seeing a more realistic side to all of you kinda humanizes the watching experience; it helps erase the gap between you three as comedians and us understanding your real selves. I'd like to think I speak for everyone when I say, the jokes and jabs are fun and all, but being able to see this more vulnerable side to all of you was definitely a welcomed change of pace.
@awesomeaartvark6 жыл бұрын
Overthinking. Which kinda mixes with a low self-confidence. I can't help but think about all the possibilities and outcomes, good or bad, of a situation or decision, and sometimes it just leads to me getting nothing done because I can't decide what I think the best decision is, so I procrastinate or try not to think about it. Just writing this comment, or most comments, really, takes way too long because I don't know what to say or how to phrase it right. It was interesting to hear you all genuinely talk about what you consider your flaws. Obviously, I love the banter and jokes (puns especially, hehe) but the fact that you guys keep it real and stay genuine is why I love ya and keep coming back! But anyways, you guys should totally do a bake-off, I love watching you all cook!

Just wanted to say that I don't care at all what you're playing, as long as you talk a lot and there's not a lot of random screaming in it. The latter is because I usually watch your videos early in the morning or while in bed, they help me to either start the day or to relax at the end of the day. I felt this video was quite personal and emotional, with the topic coming up out of nowhere. That's exactly why I started watching your videos years ago and why I still do: you guys interact together really well, always have something to talk about and can bring up literally any topic, be it serious or complete banter. I'm not the kind of guy to listen to a podcast because I have to look at something, but your videos perfectly fill in that spot for me. Keep doing what you're doing, as long as you can be yourselves! Truly the best channel on KZbin. I don't care what kind of games you play and whether you're good at them, I never came for the games. If the game is actually interesting to watch (such as trailblazers), that's just a great bonus!
@ai28026 жыл бұрын
Just going off from what Trott said about happiness and work, I once received an incredible piece of advice from a very talented director, his exact words were, "Does the work please you?" What he meant by this was simple, say you spent a few days creating a painting, you finish and look at it. Does what you see really make you happy or content? Does it satisfy you? If it doesn't try again, but if it does, if the work pleases you, then it no longer matters what others think of it. Some may find your painting terrible, some may find it ugly, but if you are truly are pleased with it, then it doesn't matter, you've made yourself happy and in this world, being able to be proud of your work can be a difficult thing to do. Does the work please you? Be honest with yourself but be proud of what you can do.

Smith, you don't have to go to the gym to get more in shape. I've never been to a gym, but in the space of a year my physique has improved massively, just from things like going out for a cycle every other day, and doing weight lifting with dumbells in my room. And the more you do it, the more you'll want to. Smith and Ross make a point about popular culture with movies such as American Pie. Even though they're wildly inaccurate, they're entertaining and give you enough insight into what's "normal" to another perspective. It's engaging to think about those differences and similarities! And I think that's why I've stayed subscribed for so long. Someone in the comments mentioned you three are charming and I agree. Hmm... biggest flaw. Definitely bits of everything, though I'll go with my "main flaw", which is that I do tend to be far too self-depricating. At one time I used to give up my free time to help others out when I desperately needed said time to help myself; and I often just make myself out to be an awful person by over-emphasising my own issues, even if they are incredibly minor. Still, that's an issue I share with quite a lot of other people - the only difference is how openly self-critical I tend to be.
