After months of teasers, a few delays, and a tragic computer issue we finally got the third official Walten Files video - Bunnyfarm.
And after a few delays on MY end too, here's the first part of my Talking About video about Bunnyfarm!

One unimportant thing that happened a day or 2 after the release is that I dared static to release a cut line from a cut scene and he gave us one line from the bear: "I'm Showbear! You're SOAPIE!" It's interesting to think that there was an entire cut scene featuring him and it seems like he lashes out at sophie

I’d feel like Felix would program Bon to hide the body back in the K-9, and return to a resting position as to not raise suspicion. Hard to be inconspicuous about killing someone when you’re main way to do it is by a giant blue rabbit with sharp teeth.

I’ve also noticed in the living room background of The Mysterious House, one of the images framed on the wall is a picture of Felix’s old car with two red children... Martin literally hid the plot right under our noses, we just only have the context now.

Some people say Bon was programmed to kill the list of targets that was set by Felix to cover up tracks but the only issue is Bon feels way too human in movement according to the very last scene. Also I like the detail of Susan specifically mentioning Bon's "right" faulty arm and as soon as they attempted to work on the endo arm it's possibly what got Susan mutilated in the first place if the arm wasn't cased and that the arm was left like that the entire time?

I believe the pink image in the background for Billy's minigame is one of the characters posing in the restaurant. If you look at the bottom, you can see legs and the bottom of a vest, with the checkered wall behind the character.

Oh my god. 13:30 The voice clip of Ashley is actually her saying “I found this” when she finds the Cassette Tape of the Kill List. 18:48 The background in red is Holly’s Farm in Banny’s Minigame 21:41 I’m guessing this represents Edd, Molly, and Felix? 21:03 Notice how those are pigs, the animals mentioned in the “Old McDonald” song in the First Compilation of Walten Files Tapes. 29:57 Okay, so this one’s pretty interesting, remember in Billy’s Reverse Message, he mentioned “The Boy went to College filled with Knowledge, but never with Thompson”? Well, It looks like he was referring to Linda, which probably means Felix (The Boy mentioned in this message) opened the Restaurant (The So-Called College) when Linda left him.

Honestly, this is the only Walten Files video that made me cry, but not out of terror. I was just so sad, seeing Felix's backstory and the tragedy of Ed and Molly. Hearing Felix scream in the bad ending was enough to get my waterworks going.

@@PredictedCyborg Exactly! We all used to think that Felix was like Squimpus McGrimpus' William Afton, but he is just a suffering, broken man who didn't want to hurt anybody. It hurts to know that.

Eh, I was reluctant to say Felix was evil or did it to take BSI or something. His actions were always "look here, look at me, look at what I've done; don't look over there at the old founder, look at me please. :D;;; " We knew he was hiding something but not why.

Since we now know that Felix is an alcoholic, I have a possible theory upon Jack's death: Jack goes to the restaurant to ask Felix about his kids. Felix is, of course, drunk. The 2 get into an argument, and Felix, under the influence of alcohol, kills Jack on accident. Shocked by what he did, he doesn't think rationally, and stuffs Jack's body inside Bon so that no one finds out. Now, I don't know why Bon is hunting the remaining members of the Walten Family, but that is something for the next installment to cover, together with Charles' death. We do know, however, that Jack is not in control of Bon, meaning someone tampered with Bon's programming. And then there's the reopening of Bon's Burgers in 1982, based on The Relocate Project. That will be a key event.

15:06, around that part of the video they show an area with a grueling pink background. I've spent enough time in the backseat of cars to understand what the front seat looks like from behind. The photo in the background, while heavily edited, looks like to be from the perspective of someone in the back of a car. This most likely correlates with the story of Felix and the two red children, for obvious reasons.

I got 'Buddy' from the second Walten Files' subtitles (and my mishearing the line at first). I know their actual name now, but I elected not to use that name until it was confirmed in video. (But then in Showbear's case later I used it as soon as they showed up properly because "the bear" for most of the script would have been more of a mouthful, as the credits is the confirmation of their name)

weird how the ghosts in the machine can just magically manifest spooky stuff in the game, seemingly creating assets out of nowhere, I always found that to be very weird, and it breaks some of the immersion when you think about it, it's not that big a deal in retrospect, but it is a problem a lot of analog short creators find themselves in.
