Thank you for the lesson. Here are my practice. I have big family. There are 8 people in my family. I am the middle child as I have 2 elder sister and 2 younger brothers. My Grandma and my parents ofcouse. I am very close to my family although we live in different city. I go back to my hometown once or twice a year but I talk to them on skype every so often. I cook traditional cuisine for my them whenever I am back to my hometown. My family said they love my cooking except my younger brother he always tease me and said "please don't open a restaurent". We share our experience and opinions within family and keep look out for one another. I am so glad to have this family.

Many thanks about your lesson, Oli. This's my practice: My family has 6 members: my grandparents, my parents, my aunt and me. I don't see my family often because I live in a different city for study, but I speak to them regularly by phone. We all get together once a month, exactly when I have much freetime like weekend or holiday, which is always very noisy but lots of fun.

Hello, your lesson is very useful. This is my work I come from a small family with four members. There are my parents, my brother who is one year younger than me and myself. Both us are the student in secondary school. I'm in seventh grade and he's in sixth grade. My mother is a businesswoman. She is very good at languages. Although she is busy, she always has time to do housework and help us with our schoolwork. My dad is an engineer. He travels pretty often with his job in abroad. When he returns from work, he tries to as much time as possible with us. Sometimes we watch films or have a picnic in the countryside. All of them are a memorable experience. We are concord with each other. I love my family so much.

There are seven people in my immediate family we´re so close, we usually all get together at least twice or three times a month. We go to my grandma´s house and make delicious food and talk to each other about everything, and sometimes we go to the mall and we usually see the many stores, and also, we have lunch too. So, I have three brothers and I´m the oldest among them, we get along very well, however I haven´t see my others two brothers often, because they lived so far to me. I married but I don´t have children yet, however I have to nephews their names are Bryan and Miguel. I see my other relatives, but not often as my immediate family. We get together each once a month, we usually go to my aunt´s house and enjoy our time together. I love all my family. Thank you so much for this videos, it´s helping me a lot!

Hi! This is really a helpful lesson. I hope you will make more videos like this to help everyone in the whole world to practice English. This is my answer: There are six people in my immediate family: my parents, three younger sisters and myself. I don't have children yet, but I very close to my sisters. I'm the oldest child, so I always help my mother to take care of our family such as cooking, tidy up, play with my youngest sister,... We are living in a beautiful house in the North of the Hanoi suburb. We often have dinner at my grandmother's house with my cousins, my aunts and my uncles, which is very noisy, but it is a ton of fun. After eating dinner we often sing, dance and play a game.

Thanks for watching and sharing your answer! Here are a few suggestions for you: 1) '...but I'm very close to my sisters,' not, 'I very close'. 2) '...take care of our family with things such as cooking...' not, '...take care of our family such as cooking...'. 3) '...cooking, tidying up, and playing with my younger sister,' not, '...cooking, tidy up, play with my youngest sister'. Hope this helps you!

I come from a small family: I just have one sister, who’s ten years younger than me. I’m the oldest in the family. My sister has three children, so I have two nephews and the niece. They live in Russia so I don’t see them often, although we talk on Skype every so often.

Thank you for the lesson. There are six people in my immediate family including my parents, three brothers and myself.I have one older and two younger brothers.I am middle in the family. My father is one year older than my mother. And he is one of nine children, cause I have a lot of cousins. But they live in other country, so we don’t see them often. We all get together once a year, which is always very noisy but lots of fun.I don’t have children because I am still small to it.We spend all our spare time together. My family is very doting. We get over anything together.I love my family!

Hello, this lesson is totally perfect 👌 My simple answer is: There are four people in my immediate family with my husband and kids. However, I raised in a big family including my grandparents besides my parents and sister that is a good luck to make me who I am in a better way. I have two children, a girl graduating from primary school by the next term and a boy, 3 years old younger than my daughter, has just started primary school. Moreover, I have just one sister, five years old younger than me, whose name is Alya living in Bursa as me so we see each other quite often. For instance, we constantly prepare meals from our favorite recipes which fill our stomach and warm our heart with happy memories, while filling the home with a pleasant smell on sundays. Although my parents live in Kayseri, where’s far away from Bursa, they visit us once a month. Like most Turkish grandparents I know, they do not want to miss any crucial moments of their grandchildren that’s why I like my whole family a lot.

Hi Vesile, thank you for watching! Here are some suggestions for your writing: 1) 'However, I was raised...' not, 'I raised'. 2) '...and sister it was good luck to make me...' not, '...and sister that is a good luck to make me...'. 3) '...boy, 3 years younger than...' not, '...boy, 3 years old younger than...'. Hope this helps you!

There are four people in my immediate family:my parents, my little sister and me of course. I'm the oldest child in my family bcauz my sister is over 15 years younger than me.What a big gap! I have lived with my parents since I was born so I'm very close to them. We always have our meals together everyday. My mum always cooks something special for us and we really enjoy all her dishes. She's the best cook for me. I am university student but all colleges and universities have been closed for over 2years in my country. But I can do self-study by the help of internet access. My sister has just started kindergarten. She's so lovely and I love her a lot. That's my practice and thank you for useful tips Oli
