it started of with my parents and then they tell bad things about me to their family and now they dont like me.If they dont like me then whats the point of living there and wasting time. i want to go masjid evryday after school learn islam. my parents use to be a muslim but not any more :( so im the only muslim. i love the masjid so much i cried i had a dream of me walking to make wudu in the masjid

MashAllah thank you sheik. It’s a blessing to have a friend that reminds you of Allah. A friend that really helps you raise your faith instead of gossiping and back bitting. Alhumdulilah. I am very blessed to have two such friends whom we remind each other not to give our blessings away by lower our standards and backbite other sister. We remind ourselves “is this something I would say in front of a person who at the subject at hand” or am I eating her reputation and giving her my good deeds in complaints even if it’s the truth! Alhumdulilah I feel everyday I am a better person to have these two friends raising my faith instead of lowering it! Jazakallahkheir

Now, is there a way that I could personally contact you about some podcast I came across recently please, inshallah. It's just that I think someone might be claiming a lecture is from you which isn't in regards of what to do when we have an headache and I don't want to give people any bad ideas of what it actually says on this podcast but it sounds like the advice is related to magic. Good topic. It all relates to "gossip" and "slander" and also "defamation". People who love to (spy and eavesdrop), are those looking for something to talk about, they want to see or hear something that will give them a story to go about spreading in gossip. Let me give an example of what I have witnessed in relation to spy and eavesdropping: Sometimes when people go to visit peoples homes, they could be outside the home and as soon as a visitor comes, sometimes their neighbors will come out of the house every time, as soon as they see any -persons at the house and stand there at their doors listening to what is said or sit outside their home listening to all that is said, until the people leave, and then they will leave. All that is doing is looking for something to talk about , spying on people that you don't even know (unless you heard a gossip about them). We like to spy on others but we don't want the others to question us as to why we are spying though. They are wrong for speaking up and confronting us about our spying. If you do it all the time, when you see people going to visit others homes, that is "spying". You are minding the business of other people who aren't thinking about you and could care less of your private life.. With regards to eavesdropping, people are spreading rumors about what goes on inside of a person's home as if someone is listening or sees with their own eyes. Well my question is this: If you are not physically in a given place to hear, or to see, they how would you know? This is when people better really take a good look at the picture. That sound like someone has placed a hidden camera in your home. How will a person know when you go from one room into another room??? Good question. How will they know what you are doing in a bathroom?, good question. There are not in there with you. They are not in your home. There must be a "camera". Fact. I myself overheard people talking about another individual (regarding what they were doing in a restroom), but there were in there alone??? Now how is that. You were not there to hear. You were not physically there to see. This type of incident is disgusting I said to myself when I heard these people saying this. That is sick. Now there is no way a person can't tell me that there was no camera in this room when these individuals who were not in there at the same time were discussing in a gossip what a person was doing in a restroom that was public, not a private restroom used only be certain people. You definitely have spying and eavesdropping going on in this world and this kind is illegal. I have heard people talking about what a person watches on TV in their home (but how would you know if you are not physically there). Can you see through walls? Do you have x-ray vision maybe. Or could it be you have a glass holding it to the wall with your ears pinned against it so you can hear what's going on in the house next door, for whatever your reasons. Possibly just to have something to complain and talk about because you have nothing else to do? I heard some people talking about one person possibly watching playboy channel or adult movies in their home and I think they were going about spreading rumors about the people to others out and about regardng this issue. I said to myself: What is that to you? Why do you care? If you have a couple living together or married, or dating or whatever the case may be, "That is not your business". We need to just mind our business and respect the rights and privacy of others when it is not hurting us. Maybe one person may not like something but when you bother people who are in their own homes or dwellings, not bothering you or paying you attention, you are wrong and out of place. It does not matter what you think. You are not God to tell others how to live and what they should do in their homes. People are out of line when it comes to spying all the time and eavesdropping because they "are miserable and unhappy at homes themselves) which is often the true case.

This properly is the root cause of most major family problems, everyone is spoken to about the smallest of issues apart from the people actually involved. Don't think I'll find it in my heart to ever forgive the perpetrators in my family who have soured the relationships I've held most dear to me.

God is my only friend. Humans are generally a real headache. I have god as my best and only friend and then I have my child as the other half of my soul and my two cats and that’s all I need.. no time to make friends anymore only for them to slander and backbite me. Then I always have to worry about what I say for fear of not knowing if they have a sincerely kind heart or their interjection into my life is with malicious intent. Anywho I know many of you feel the same.. of course there are good friends out there but they are hard to come by.
