PLEASE continue to feature entire builds. I loved Overhaulin. As many people did. You channel can go through the roof if you bring geeky detailed handywork content.

Great video! I have a 1966 Chevy impala convertible. I want to chop the top & put all new glass. I want to compete for the Ridler in Detroit

Now I would really like to see Eddie make the Glass in place of buying off the shelf ... Also to see Chip and those little drawings are what I like to watch Chip do. Millions can build cars, how many can draw them to real life ??

Doubt that you'll read this, but laying the windshield back will make the angle to the top tie piece more extreme, if you want the tie piece to remain level to the ground (or in the plane of the body). Wraparound windshields are notoriously hard to install, and when you make that top angle tighter, the windshield will want to break (especially in that tight angle) when going over a curb or just pop out because the body structure has lost rigidity from the top removal. Even if you add rigidity into the frame, it will still want to do this because the windshield posts are tied together and the body is moving around more than normal. Probably the only way to get around this is to remove the top tie piece entirely and leave just the windshield posts. This will make the glass guy's work easier (because then he isn't constrained to a tight angle at the top tie piece/windshield post join), and you can install a gasket that is thick enough to allow the windshield posts to flex a little with the body. If it is going to be a show car forever, you may not have to do this - but if it is going to be driven at all, this will be an issue.

I love these videos. Eddie at one point said 57 Chevy and the car is a 56. I hope he didn't order a windshield for a 57 because they do not interchange. He probably knows that and I know Chip knows as well. Are we going to see the 56 at GNRS 2024?
