It's no consolation, but I'm personally glad that we still get to 'see' him, and that all of his videos are in fact a permanent celebration of his life. One thing I'm sure of is that Steve wouldn't want people to hurt (I feel the same way as you do, though, it breaks my heart to realize that he's there in a video, but isn't physically with us anymore, if that makes sense. I'm still numb, I can't believe it), as he was definitely always the type of guy that strived/wanted to make others around him smile and laugh. That is extremely admirable of him to me, there aren't many people out there that care so much about people and animals the way he had. He dedicated his life/legacy to them, and that means a lot to me. Also, something I have learned is that a person that has passed is never truly gone. Not as long as they're not forgotten, and I know none of us would ever forget him, that's for sure.. it's kinda heartwarming that he has a big piece of all of our hearts, he'll live on in our memories, hearts, and minds forever. I personally have never ever seen a more caring community of people over the internet than that of TKK, I know Steve would be so proud. :)

All of Steve's animals represented a part of himself he used the talking kitty videos as a creative outlet Sylvester was his outgoing side with anger issues Shelby represents his love of food and his animals Gibson represented his anxiety nervousness and bipolar disorder Random Kitty represented how random and a goofball he was I'm still trying to figure out what Gibbyson and GG represent, now this is coming from someone that has been diagnosed with bipolar let me tell you it's a rollercoaster of emotions and it can be difficult to talk about when others don't understand or try to understand and gets really frustrating 😔 so bipolar disorder there are different stages depending on how someone with this mental health issue is feeling it changes depending on how they are feeling a regular day and they're feeling ok they will go about their day certain things can change that if they're a manic up they have alot of energy and they want to do stuff to get their energy out making videos painting being on social media playing games on PC Xbox or Playstation to name a few examples now when they are depressed they will shut down and try to deal with the situation themselves this can happen for multiple reasons loss of loved ones financial issues loss of a pet divorce being stuck in the house for long periods of time to name a few the list goes on and on now I want to be clear with everyone I don't personally know Steve or his family and I don't know his situation and I'm not claiming this is what he went through I'm just giving examples of what can lead to bipolar depression I just want to help educate people to help them understand what it's like from a perspective from someone diagnosed with bipolar . With most mental illnesses there is a chemical imbalance in the brain the best thing that you can do for the people you care about that have mental health problems is educate yourself learn more about the illness be patient and understanding and most of all let them know that they're not alone .

My heart hurts so bad. In Steve's last video- I do believe it was a plea for help. When he said that he was down 6+ months at a time with depression, The alarm bells went off for me. Unfortunately Steve was a very private person and didn't give us a chance to cheer him up. I'm mad at you Steve damnit. We love you so much and you ripped our hearts out.
