Hello Grace 🙂 It’s such a good feeling to watch your husband go for a walk with you. I know it takes more time and effort as a caregiver but it looks like he’s doing so much better than going with a wheelchair. I was in a wheelchair and now use a walker and it has a seat in case I need to sit for a rest. It is 100% better for me to try to walk more instead of giving up. You both give me so much hope. As disabled as I seem, I am the caregiver in my family and that’s what pushes me everyday. My oldest daughter helps me so much care for my mother so I can concentrate on my family …such a blessing she is to me and my mom that she cares for. Looking at my plants I realized that when I was doing well, so were my plants and now that I am recovering my plants are calling out to me as well! By watching you with your plants and your beautiful ideas about your surrounding it lit a candle in my dusty darkness and it always gives me hope. Thank you for always sharing with us …I know it takes time and all, but I so appreciate you doing that. ❤ Please tell your husband how he gives hope to people like me also…it’s always good to hear how you can impact others in a good way right? Losing vision and hearing can isolate people and cause further decline so it’s good that you do so much to help him-sending you love and healing so each day you feel fully rested and excited about the day! Gambate! 🎉. I’m praying for so much for you both!

Dear Francine, I read your every comment from the heart but I did not know that you were also suffering difficulty on walking. I did know that your profession was something related to helping people with their health issues but I did not know that you were the recipient now. Oh, my... for that, thank you for finding my channel. I thank you so much for giving me the strength to carry on with my present situation. I was only sharing how a Filipina cope with everything but I did not know that I am going to touch people's hearts. I am overwhelmed by every viewer's support on this matter, so with your sincerity by sharing your condition right now. Thank you, Francine. Thank you, God. Take care. I will convey your message to my husband. Hugs. - Grace

Because of my work, I learned that not everyone is suited to be a caregiver. My culture teaches that it is our responsibility but I know that sometimes it is better not to have help from certain people If they are not able to do care. My mom needed a certain kind of help after surgery and even if my siblings are physically in better shape, I went in to do that care. Luckily my oldest daughter could do everything else and also my mom, even in her 90’s was so strong and insisted on bathing herself and other things. God gave me strength and had me. do things I didn’t think I could. Each day I ask him to help me do more for myself and for those around me and it is happening. I do get tired, frustrated at times but I know I’m not alone and that we can make things better ❤. You know that’s why I admire Japan when it comes to walking 🙂 You are amazing and give me hope ❤

There are unsolicited advice ( started to pop up on the comment section ) about how I take care of my husband. That... "he is stilly young and able to put on his pants and leave it to him to do it himself". The thing here is that these indelicate advicers should have asked what kind of ailment my husband has first. He has difficulty on balancing his body especially when he picks up something from the ground so it is very dangerous for him to do that task himself. He is taking a medicine for his blood. Last year month of October, he was walking down the street when I noticed that he wasn't showing up back home. I saw him from far being supported by an old man because he did simply fall down with his face on the ground. He has balance problem because of his vision/sight issues, I think. Negative viewers are lacks "delicacy" but I'm ready to handle them anyway. Block or Ban.

@@livingwithgraceinjapan when I get “hit” by things like that I give it to God because you know as a caregiver, there isn’t enough time to explain everything and sometimes our inner most thoughts are sacred anyway. I hope that everyone actually has your best at heart but if not, well …there is a lot of that everywhere, but like I said before …for each one like that…there are more standing to support you than tear you down. ❤️ I did have vertigo when I was working and about two weeks after I stopped working it disappeared …it had caused me to get dizzy even when I was lying down and still. When it went away I was shocked but my doctor thinks it was stress induced so I had to work on keeping it away by making sure I kept myself in check with that. Things he can do safely like giving him small towels you washed and dried and see if he can fold…that’s good. But anything that might cause him harm…no right? If he used to read, they have audio books now and even so many things they didn’t have before. Don’t let anyone steal your joy! I know you can rise above it all my friend. ❤️

@@francinecardoza6727, thank you for the comforting words today. Of course, I am not letting the negativity get to me. I am preparing for another video about how social welfare services work for us, how much we pay and the basics on how, who and when to avail the service. It makes me motivated to make my videos informative and articulate as much as I can.

Hello Grace 👏🏽☺️ I hope that both and your husband have been doing well. It's good to see that you both are enjoying your walk and getting some exercise. The avocado plants seems to be coming along very well. And I'm sure those lovely ferns will forgive you for missing a day of watering 😄🪴 The grilled mackerel 🐟 looked delicious. I've never had sinigang , but it looked delicious as well😋🍽 Thanks for sharing ❤

Hi Grace What a big job taking the stag horns out each day, as they mature they shall become very heavy, you could just spray them inside with a misting spray bottle. It's a shame you can't leave them on the branch rack you made. Great effort by your hubby, good on him for the hard work he is putting in. X

Hello Maude, I water them once a week but I missed one day. They're OK still I want consistency. They're tropical plants so Winter days are placed indoor. My 3rd year starting staghorns and I am hooked to it. Because of that "monetization" thing I forgot to water them.
