Times sure have changed. In the old days I remember people being more receptive. The ones you interview are ok, but they all seem a little scared at first like maybe they think you are a warden checking on their catches. LOL. I am only 64, but I can relate to you easily. Thank you for doing this channel. By the way, I have never fished a pier. I have deep sea fished and river fished only.

You are an ambassador for the sport! I grew up fishing that pier in the 80's. My neighbor would take us there 6am to 11p. They used to sell live anchovies. Had a blast catching macs, halibut, a few calicos. Good times. Thanks for the video. Good memories.

One of the best pierced in San Diego to relax on. I used to run bait from the bottom of the wooden shelter Island pier as a kid. To get paid a candy bar and a Coke for the day. It was a much better pier when it was wood, better quality fish. All I ask is that people keep it clean for future generations. Awesome video

Can't stand that pier, everything I go there it's either super crowded, full of loud obnoxious people or there is always some goof playing crappy vulgar music that nobody cares to listen to.
