Thanks so much Nick ! I was on the fence about getting this through our local supplier RotorQuest- but you sold me - the ease of repair , maintenance and low parts cost are very appealing to a 59year old guy getting back into the hobby . Shameless plug there to represent us Canadian pilots at CanadianRCPilot. My flying buddy Chris has suggested I take a good look at this and I know this could be my next purchase. Thanks look forward to more videos - Cheers from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦

Thanks so much Nick for putting together this video. You answered many of my curiosities on this heli. Especially the drag (or lack thereof) in the drive train. The head spins pretty freely. I've been flying a Diabolo for years, maybe time to try a Specter, lol!

Nice review. I'm curious to what flying weight you have with your 12s 5600mah packs?

Hi, I have two issues. 1) I'm trying to find the best way to get the canopy to fit with the battery ESC wires. It's an extremely tight fit and i really have to put alot of pressure and squeeze everything to get the canopy on. This is with the battery wires in the front of the machine. I could try to move the battery wires in the middle of the machine but don't know if ESC wires will fit. 2) I'm getting about 2mm of play from the tail blade holder. The holders themselves are tight and don't move when i pull up from the top but this is side to side play. Don't know if this is normal dampening or something else. Don't think adding a shim between the tail hub and blade grip will help as there is no play there. Please Help! Thanks!

Great overview. I have a few questions: what receiver are you using? You mentioned Tail Gain of 50%. Is that Ethos, OpenTX or what radio operating system? What FBL are you us? Thanks

He runs Futaba so it's a CGY760 and he probably has the 32mz radio or is using a 16iz both are Futaba.

build quality on the v2 isnt that good.. i had all kinds of mis aligned parts .the 3rd bearing block is a hair off. main shaft was tough to get in. had to force a few bolts on the frames cause holes slightly off. same crappy hard to adjust motor mount set as the v1. the lipo tray lock pin isnt long enough just barely goes into the tray notch( def dont feel confident about that not coming out) link ends still crappy as the v1. parts in general seem low quality Compared to the tron a built this year . definitely not equal helis that are equal price..

Yes. And wenn he in a year or two moves to another brand, then that will be the best helicopter ever 🙄
