Forgot to mention this and I also didn't see anyone else pointing it out but: How does Epoch even know about Yuhi's hair reacting to aliens? The last time it happened was in arc 5 when Yuhi met the Ko Girls of Sevens. Epoch debuted in arc 6. Did I forget about a scene between arc 6-8 where Epoch saw Yuhi's hair having a reaction to aliens? Otherwise her knowing about it makes no sense. (and no, I doubt anyone told her off screen about it)

Zaion's first appearance (or rather, the return of Zaion in Arc 6)? I remember that both Yudias, Yuhi and Epoch were there and Yuhi's hair reacted to Zaion's presence.

@@brunosanto3488 I checked ep 70 (it's when Epoch sees Zaion for the first time and Yudias and the twins show up later at the Kamijo mansion too) and Yuhi's hair didn't react at Zaion at all? I even rewatched ep 71 since it was the second part of Zaion vs Yudias and still nothing. So I'm not sure where you saw Epoch seeing Yuhi's hair react to Zaion.

1^2 = 1. I think he's referencing is the fact that in the Manga, i^2 means Industrial Illusion, so he's using it as a way to say 2.

The holding it in moment was funnier than I expected because it was suddenly relatable. They never did this in Yugioh before as far as I'm concerned. I never thought you guys hated it with every fibre of your being. Or maybe because I'm Asian. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Am I the only one getting annoyed that everyone keeps calling the new villain "Darkman" when that's not his name? His name is Sabyuas, he introduces himself as such when he readies his Duel Disk before the duel. Darkman refers to his species, like how Yudias is a Velgearian.

Glad my pick was right. Here's my pick for the upcoming Epoch VS Manabu Duel. WINNER - EPOCH Score - W-52, L-18 Hopefully she can win without cheating this time.

Here is a theory I thought of for the origins of the dark matter Empire the thing that took yuamu away at the end of season two fractured her into pieces and merged with her fragments, creating the dark matter Empire

Something curious about the Episode is the fact that Dark Matter Empire seems like something recent rather than something that existed a long time ago. At the same time, it is emphasized that the Darkmen are not Aliens since Yuhi's hair did not react to them. The way Sabyuas describes Yudias and the others as "beings who walk in the light" reminds me of that prophecy that The Relic had about Yudias: where a warrior would find a new path using Rush Duels and become a light to the universe. Furthermore, this Episode seems to confirm the reason for the existence of the next Episode: they are still repairing the ship to be able to continue their space journey and CPT will be there to annoy them. Either way, I think the victory of the next Episode will go to Manabu due to two factors: 1) Manabu hasn't had a victory in a long time (he lost to Yuamu and then to Yuna). 2) Epoch only manages to win by cheating or with outside help. Either way, it is not the first time for Manabu that he has managed to win a Duel against a female Duelist who used a new Deck. PS: The Darkmen may be based on two cryptids: Black Stick Men or Shadow People. Both cryptids are described as humanoid creatures that pose as shadows or shadowy figures (which can hide in other shadows)

If Normal CPT is an AI that tries to sabotage and kill the main group, then Evil CPT will be like: an AI that tries to help and protect the main group. Jokes aside, it will depend on each individual if it is a good idea to show both Bluetech Burst Rex and Transamu Power Rainac very early. In my case, I think it's fine since, if I came out later, it would surely guarantee a victory for those Duelists. By showing them early (even with Duels not so important in the grand scheme of things), it means that they won't necessarily be the trump cards in future Duels. By the way, it has been confirmed that all Darkmen will use Dark Matter Decks in an official information about GO RUSH. Which means that every member of the Dark Matter Empire will use a different variant or playstyle of Dark Matter (something similar to what happened with Meklord in 5Ds) Additionally, a Spell Card from Sabuyas (Dark Matter Force) confirms that this Darkman will have another Duel later.

I'm actually fine with the bathroom stuff this episode if you consider what the point actually was, to establish the Darrkman's personality as a "child friendly sadist" and I struggle to think of another way to do it while following "show don't tell" aside from critically injuring someone in the crash with death baiting they have no intention of going through with, it's not just there for no reason unlike in the Yuna episode where there's plenty of other baby jokes to be made Dylan needs to watch some harem anime so he can actually learn what a tsundere is, what Epoch is, or just watch Wind Breakers

Logically, Manabu should win since he lost his last two duels. Meanwhile Epoch lost her first duel and won the second (even though it was through cheating and nobody cared to call that out *cough*). If Epoch finally stops cheating then that'd be good but considering she hasn't given up on cheating when losing to Yuhi... they have to do her changing her mind about cheating right otherwise it's gonna feel forced. But ngl, I feel like even if Manabu wins he's not gonna be the Captain (because the writers don't like giving him anything good anymore). Heck, I don't think Epoch will be either. CPT might just take over who knows.

The funny thing is that, in theory, the Captain should be Yudias already on, after all, it is his ship. However, Manabu and CPT are the only ones who could claim the right to the Ship: the first because he belongs to MIK and the second because it is the living sentient of the ship itself.

@@brunosanto3488 I mean you're not wrong. Idk why they even have Epoch and Manabu duel when Yudias should be the captain anyway. Unless Yudias is unable to do the job because eating curry bread everyday turned him crazy or whatever. *shrug*

@@mikai4738 I mean.... the first Episode of this Arc makes it clear that the only thing Yudias and his people ate to sustain themselves was curry bread. Basically, for more than a million Aliens, living on Yudias's ship must have been hell or it must have been that you adapt until you go crazy. And well... the group was expecting supplies or tools for the ship and what they will get is Manabu and Nyandestar. Not to mention CPT's attempts to kill them and drive them crazy just by eating curry bread.

@@brunosanto3488 The curry bread we see in that episode was supplied by Asaka and came from Zwijo's store. I'm pretty sure that we don't know what Yudias' people were eating outside of those instances where they got ramen from Menjaburo or Tazaki wanting to feed them some rice.

Surprised by your choice since I think Manabu has a better chance of winning: 1) The boy hasn't won a Duel in a long time (losing to Yuamu and Yuna) while Epoch did get a win (by cheating and with Yuamu's help) 2) Epoch cheating resulted in a bad trick when she faced Yuhi in her first Duel.

Been a while since I commented here but as a Manabu's stan, I will give 3 reasons why Manabu might win this week: 1. Manabu has lost in the last two duels against Yuamu and Yuna so it's the perfect time for him to catch some wins here. From his dueling records and WL streak, he always has two streaks of either a win or loss before the result changes for him. It's just weird to give a character a 3 loss in a row, especially for our most recurring character here. You could say Rovian got a huge 4 loss in a row before she won against Purisaki lately but Manabu's duel records and his importance are more steady than Rovian. 2. If you watch the preview closely, you can see Manabu summons Alchemicalize Salamandra. That Fusion monster's effects are more of a reactive effect, meaning it works better as a going second card. Knowing the mantra of 'Going 2nd Wing 80% of the time' here, we can assume Manabu will go 2nd and will win in the 4th turn. There are obviously exceptions here because even Manabu still lost against Zwijo after going 2nd because of Requiem Cylinder and not all duels will end exactly 4 turns. However, I firmly believe the studio won't break this rule now just yet for a rather comedic first few episodes. To add this credence, Manabu uses Thropos Rapier too but I don't think it's used on Volcalize Phoenix but on Epoch's monsters so he can board wipe S/T with Salamadra to debuff Epoch's monsters. 3. Regarding the preview again, there's heavy emphasis on Epoch's new Dice monsters/Aces here. And it's usually not a good sign for the preview to show your Ace monsters. The show clearly wants to hide the winning Ace cards so it'll be a surprise in the episode. Last week, we had Sabyuas' Enigmata in the preview and would you know it, he lost and we were surprised to see Yuhi using Bluetech Burstrex here. Clearly they don't want to show Bluetech in the preview to hide Yuhi's winning moments. Case in point, back in Sevens, in Yuga vs Tiger R2, the preview showcased Sevens Paladin too much and I mean we got it, Yuga would use Sevens Paladin to secure victory. But surprise2, Tiger ended up winning that duel with a surprising result and Sevens Paladin became a punching bag here. The main reason this is important is because we still have 2 New Chromatographagus Fusions for Manabu that we haven't seen. I can see this is the perfect time for them to show those new Manabu's Fusions. As I said, we saw too much of Epoch's new monsters and less on Manabu's, except for Salamandra which we had seen beforehand.

@@edwardloei5542 Oh, nice observations. I just thought that Manabu should win due to having lost his last two duels. But considering how the writers don't seem to like him that much anymore, they might just give the win to Epoch still. (or they have a DRAW)

@@mikai4738 Funny to think that Manabu was better looked after in Season 1 compared to Season 2. However, Rovian was done dirty in much of Season 1, but she had her moments to shine as a character in Season 2. In a nutshell: Asaka supremacy, being the only Supporting Character who has remained consistent and relevant until now (sinces GO RUSH's First Arc)

@@brunosanto3488To me, Rovian was boring but now that she made curry her whole personality, she's just annoying. Asaka annoyed me in the first three arcs because she felt too arrogant for my taste but now, she's like the best relevant girl imo. Idk why she's less popular than Yuna.
