Been watching this episode through the course of several days and wanted to thank you guys for the insightful content and also leave a little feedback. Yanko you have a tendency to talk over others and get very loud. I hope you take this professionally and not personally, there were many instances where Chad or Karrigan were attempting to present an idea or elaborate on a topic and you would aggressively cut them off by loudly repeating your opening phrase several times until they conceded to let you speak. I didn’t think it was necessary to add timestamps as that would be quite pedantic but there was an example where you got quite carried away describing times when your calls as a coach won rounds. I was going to leave a more frustrated comment along the lines of accusing you of enjoying the sound of your own voice but I cooled off first and tried to be more respectful. Ultimately I hope you keep in mind that the renowned guests of the show should be stars and the excitement of viewer is focused on hearing their insights during these rare opportunities. Thank you for your time and keep striving to improve in all aspects of your professional methods.

@bulldogmicro4279 Жыл бұрын
This is the type of content I want. Not a bunch of commentators sitting around a room rambling about what they think is going on in game. Commentators should pick the pros brains apart each episode it's very interesting. I also enjoy the more humanity in the esl pro matches. The team speak listen ins, hearing the players sometimes, and the more human nature of the commentators commentary during the match. You can't talk about the same thing all round sometimes it's ok to talk about other things when the game is boring.

@scapegoat4 Жыл бұрын
All this talk about how you guys have designed and are currently running pro league is an incredible level of transparency, very rarely do we get to hear the rationale for... anything, really! The "going back and talking to players about past rounds" could be an amazing segment just after a match: For instance, talking to G2 about that crazy round against mibr (?) recently where niko walked to ramp with some incredible timings. Better yet, talk to the player who missed niko as he was coming back from locker room, show that it was not his fault, make him laugh about the insanity of it! Also, niko WASN'T the problem, the ENTIRE TEAM was a problem! Finally we have the answer!

To shorten the length of the games, Valve should introduce white flags for the end of the round. For Example its the first gun round and neither team has enough money to hunt CT's hit the white flag conceding the round(if retake is not seen as an option) and if the t's agree to end the round it goes to freeze time.

Lengthier matches doesn't equal a better experience for the viewer - quality counter-strike does. Watching people save and bait out utility by just sitting fucks the viewing experience bad. Watching defaults, taking space and getting those entrys is all fine and fun but the real excitement comes from watching clutches and retakes. The saving/percentage CS takes away too much from that, that's why maybe the losing bonus need to be less punishing. 90 minutes is perfectly fine for a match, 120 minutes is no problem either but 180-240 minutes filled with pauses and saving is boring.

Talking about to production, i still dont understand why there is a break in between maps. Why is there a 2-5 min break when the analysts could be breaking down the last map. Why not bring in what it meant to lose your map pick as a fav when playing against an underdog, why not talk about why broky/ropz is not in the server yet and how it could affect the series going in..... You see it in dota, in between games, the desk do their job and break down what happened, and go into the draft.
