I hate the idea of tanking, but we honestly cannot win another game this year. This is an awful quarterback class in this upcoming draft. Brian Daboll is not the problem. When Daniel Jones, by some miracle, strings together a decent game, the offense looks competent. The second he can't find a receiver more than 10 yards down the field or he's throwing behind receivers on their routes, the offense craters. There is a common denominator here. Is Daboll perfect? No. Is he more than capable of running an offense that is leagues better than what we've been capable of since he's been here? Yes. Get this man HIS choice at QB for a season, then if he can't string together a competent season you can think of firing him.

DJ is bad in practice too. Tyrod actually outperformed DJ both in camp and in games but the Giants stuck with him for some reason. This could be why Tyrod criticized the organization after leaving. Giants have signed a number of QB's since drafting DJ but they went out of their way to immediately name them backups so they wouldn't have a chance to challenge for the starting spot. We even intentionally downgraded our backup QB to make DJ the only playable QB on the team. Now the season is lost (again) and we're continuing to play him despite the injury clause. I do agree that he's likely better than Lock and DeVito. But he hasn't thrown a TD pass at home since 2022. He just set a Giants record with 21 attempts for 99 yards. Can replacing him really be that much worse? What do we have to lose besides the injury clause money? Shouldn't we at least make sure Lock and DeVito are as bad as we think?

Two extremes this weekend. I’m a lifelong Yankees and Giants fan. I watched Juan Soto in Cleveland, with 2 outs in the 10th, and he looked like an absolute killer. Then you have the Giants at home looking like Bambi during the forest fire. I understood Schoen giving Jones a contract after he took a flawed team into the playoffs and won a road playoff game in 2022. The question now is what does Daboll do? If he were smart, he'd realize that Josh Ezeudu at Left Tackle and Daniel Jones at QB on Monday Night against the Steelers pass rush is going to probably result in Jones getting injured, which is going to cost the Giants a lot of money in 2025. If I'm Daboll, I give the play calling back to Kafka, because right now, the Giants have two offensive coordinators and no head coach. Maybe he gambles with Jones on Monday night. If so, it's an automatic loss because Jones can't win in prime time or at home. I agree the lack of a running game has me now doubting Daboll. Tracy and Nabors are the best offensive weapons on the team. Hyatt clearly is useless, at least with DJ at QB. I'd get Singletary, Tracy, and Nabors on the field together as often as possible, especially since Tracy is a converted WR. Get Evan Neal on the field, if he's healthy, because despite all the flak he gets, he can run block. I have no idea what's going on in practice, but Evan Neal was a dominant left tackle for Alabama in 2021.

A lot of the fans were booing 3 plays into the season, booing in 3 point games and burning Barkley's jersey before the game. The team obviously doesn't like playing at home and finicky fanbase support. Sometimes you get what you ask for. We have an owner who can't handle that crap and it causes him to keep making these half measures and coaching changes that arent well thought out. It's cleat Dabs doesn't understand he's coaching the Giants with DJ passing the ball and not Josh Allen in Buffalo. The whole idea that the offense is limited by our QB is stupid. If that is the case than that is on Dabs. Call the plays and get guys open and if DJ keeps missing wide open guys then you can deal with that when you get there. If that was the case then Dabs is letting it affect his run calls and that's on him. Call the plays that get guys open. On 2 deep passes there were guys wide open in the flats. The flats have been open for weeks and all we keep hearing Dabs talk about is establishing explosive plays have DJ take the short stuff if it's there. They are doing nothing to help a QB who isn't superman like Allen. Really, I'm not happy with any of the coaching besides Bricillo and Bowen.

Was at the stadium and honestly there were a lot less philly fans than i expected and the parking lots were all as full as ive ever seen. But outside of last year when neither team had anything to play for in the last game, philly and dallas games will always have big away team crowds because those are the only games you can actually make money selling off your tickets. Team has been such a jake and the stadium is such a shit hole every other game youre lucky to get face value if you decide to give your tickets up. Not to mention just this market in general with alot of people moving in from other areas youll always have a good amount of fans from the other teams. Ive seen the stadium going absolutely nuts and getting loud as hell in big moments and games where the giants actually do good. But theyve been awful for so long its really hard to have this fanbase get excited watching this team completely shit the bed every week. Especially when the stadium itself is a pain to get to and get in, and once you do its just an ugly lifeless money pit. For how much they charged us for these PSLs its an absolute shame how everything with this team goes. From the shitty product on the field down to the garbage stadium.
