On the Lala and Katie treatment, I’m glad it’s being brought up. Last season Sandoval and Brock slut shamed her every chance they got, making comments about Range Rover for BJs, and not once Ariana said anything. Don’t get me wrong, I’m team Ariana, it just maybe an expression on how these unconscious biases work. For example we had this season an apology scene where Lala apologises to Brock, but he didn’t do the same. Katie over the seasons has been treated like shit by the Toms and we never saw the group ever stand up for her, they would gaslight her into thinking she was the bad guy and she had to apologise to be part of the group. Even as recently as now, Jax was still talking about the motor boating the dick thing but was full of excuses for Schwartz. It’s been misogyny on display. Thanks for mentioning! 😊

None of the female cast have a particularly good track record of "feminist" solidarity. They all have thrown other women under the bus on behalf of male cohorts, but I feel pretty confident we're watching the dynamic of that sorta shift for Lala, Ariana, and Katie. Sando gaslit and destroyed Kristen, and Ariana helped. Sando manipulated Ariana. Sando is absolutely manipulating Raquel. Sando sabotaged Schwartz's relationship...the entire time, encouraged him to devalue Katie. That's why I feel like we'll all feel bad later for the viciousness that Raquel is getting and will continue to get. Her relationship with James was f*d up. She starts out season 10 fooling around with Peter and having blacked out about making out with him at Sur, she goes out on a date with Peter and breaks down about how she can't pay for her LA life without James and she doesn't want to go back to school to get her masters degree- aka, do what her parents want- she's either got learning/speech issues, or is just what we reduce to "dumb" and she let James control her in troublesome ways, and her attempt at promoting herself as Ms California and as a model through VDP marrying James was obv an escape from her parents. She and Tom no doubt gaslit eachother on how she could be Ariana 2.0, it wouldn't be a big deal. Her parents clearly do not want her on the show- If you can't remember making out with someone, that's a bad sign. If someone has sex with another person who is legally unable to consent- it's rape. I worry that's the dark reality that has been lurking in the background of the show since 2013. At anytime when the cast is hammered and they hook up, any of them could have declared it unwanted at anypoint. And no doubt some women exist that could make that claim about Jax or Sandoval or maybe even Schwartz. As fun as it is to claim Raquel's a vile monster for screwing over Ariana- she's not okay and I feel like...it's all gonna be really sad. That woman is not okay.

You want to understand Raquel? Look no further than her bizarre adoption background. Really f..ked her up for life. Since birth. Sure, it was convenient for her biological mother ( Susan ) and her biological aunt/adoptive mom ( Laura ) to do a switcheroo. But for Raquel, it really messed up her sense of identity, and logic. Instead of : A is A. B is B. It becomes: A is B. B is A. Raquel's exact words about her adoption from the Bravo website : "My biological mom, Susan, gave birth to Kate before me. And then Susan accidentally got pregnant again right around the time my aunt, Laura, was trying to conceive. Susan was generous enough to offer to have me for my aunt." The sentence that sticks out at me is "generous enough to offer to have me for my aunt." That to me is so wrong of what Raquel's Mom and her aunt to do that to Raquel. How twisted of them to do that to a baby. Sad and tragic. That is why Raquel is cold, emotionless, detached. It became her survival technique. I am not saying this is an excuse for what she did to Ariana. How she can be detached to Scheana. It is though a partial insight into her psyche.

I’ve been a fan. And when Scandavol broke I rewatched the entire series - everything - I wish I’d written down the episode - there is a scene w Scheana and Ariana in S2 or S3. Scheana asks /says Well how long did it take Sandoval to end it with Kristen-years? They cut scene before Ariana responds. You are experiencing what Jax experienced pre wedding when Sandoval waited for on screen story time to bring up the Pastors anti LGBTQ.. statements. Jax had been working on himself- facing that all that behavior he pulled off with the Tom’s was no longer acceptable- he was trying to shift his paradigm. Everyone was ribbing Britney no to go through with the marriage. He took it. But seeing Tom continue to pull his ( hide my life while I moralize to you about your life) game. As irritated as he was about other things , when Tom did that publicly to Jax and Britt ( making her cry). Jax sawTom for who he was and he was done. He only put Tom back in the wedding to keep everyone off his back. But once he saw Tom and believed he was what he was showing- game over. Your just getting there.

Lala claims to not have known Randall was married and is still insisting this obvious lie is true in 2023. Did she not watch season 5 of the show she stars on? Stassi said Randall's wife found out about Lala and Randall by finding a sexting type video on Rand's phone. Katie and Scheana also knew and stated on camera in the same season that Randall was married, but somehow Lala didn't know? I think it’s the timeline too. I’ve been saying all along she broke up with James after Sandoval gassing her up. They went on a double date to Disney the day or 2 before season 9 reunion. A Bravo Producer did an interview & said they r messing up by not filming now, that’s why they told the cast not to sign any contracts until they see the 3rd reunion. I also agree w/ u about a bridge to Vanderpump Valley b/c Britney & Jax said they will be filming w/ Vanderpump in some capacity.

Simultaneously, she knows how to temporarily make herself feel good. IE men. I do believe Tom told her everything she wanted to hear.

@@sharethelove5034 yes in a perverse way she and Tom fit together well. He can lie and manipulate her and she will soak it up and tell him he’s a genius. I also think the abandonment of adoption plays into her behaviour. She constantly wants to be chosen. (I have family members that were adopted and everything was handled well, and no one has lingering issues from it. I don’t think Rachel’s case was handled in a healthy way). She went after James so that a TV personality would choose her; even when it was obvious he was sleeping with every girl in LA, it was more important that James chose her over those girls. She went after Tom so the top dog in the group and on the show would choose her. She spent her life doing pageants so that a panel of strangers would choose her, and for the rest of her life she could fall back on that time a panel chose her “Miss Where-ever”. And I think some kind of… mental issue? deficiency? (Trying to be sensitive on wording because I truely don’t know what up)… possibly foetal alcohol syndrome, leaves her unable to fully comprehend the consequences of her actions in her quest to be chosen. She truely didn’t understand what this would do to Ariana. She doesn’t get what the TRO did to Scheana.

When pretty woman talk sexually in an explicit manner or talk hood. Our brain expects something different and are institutionally disappointing. When I was younger I would swear alot. Every other day I would here from some man "your too pretty to swear". I had a very petite pretty well mannered friend when she would drink she would say the most shocking dirty things, men would change what they heard automatically, or say "what". because their brain couldn't compute it with the image. But with Lala I believe it is a defense mechanism, to keep people at bay.

Hello I think you’ve hit the nail on the head with Scheana , she’s very caring, , also Ariana is not a saint everyone has their faults , although some of them are a lot more cut throat than others , as we have been finding out more recently, as for Schwartz I Sandoval does not like strong woman because he can’t influence them round to his way of thinking , this has rubbed off on to Schwartz , that’ gave him so many problems with Katie because as we know she won’t be told what to do , relationships have to be give & take , not you do as I say , I don’t think Schwartz understood this , I hope he does now 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

This I definitely agree with. Sandoval was the problem in their marriage. Schwartz isn’t free of fault there and actually this puts the responsibility firmly at his feet. If he had a different friend with a different dynamic with his wife, he would have been a very different partner. I do think ultimately he would still have been driven by underlying resentment but to a lesser extent. He is like Raquel in that sense - they’re both a bit of a blank slate in terms of personality and motivation, they take on the most prevalent parts Of the most dominant person in their lives.

The narcissist traits is so important to speak up about, Sandoval yelling at Ariana for 48 hours after she found out HE was cheating, that is not normal, that’s narcissistic rage of his true dark side being exposed, his anger and lashing out at Ariana, her friends who were acting as her support system, telling Scheana they were never friends, telling James he never said they were like brothers and they only spoke once a month, calling Ariana a muther fukker @ the reunion, he’s lashing out at everyone who is trying to hold him accountable, as a narcissist, he automatically wants to manipulate the story so that he’s the victim I know you can’t diagnose anyone and I respect that but please speak as much as you can about these toxic, abusive traits, these are the behaviors that are dangerous and can become much more dangerous, women need to look out for these behaviors, most victims don’t have the support system that Ariana has with her friends and the world supporting her, some victims are traumatized for years and even for life, it’s just so important to bring awareness just to educate as many women as possible, like Lala said, it’s so important to at least know what you’re dealing with and not allow yourself to just go crazy 🙏🏾❤️

Ryan, I totally enjoy your show, but I am worried for you and your viewers who may be feeling like you do, because of the way you seem to view entertainment television. Yes, it is reality TV, however we should not let these people's lives effect ours. They have all of the necessary resources to get help, if they want and need it. "might make people not sign a contact for season 11" makes me think 1 of 2 things personally. My mind goes to: 1) maybe Lisa knew this was going on much before she claimed and turned a blind eye? Or worse, maybe encouraged it for ratings. Also, would pertain to her seemingly defending Sandoval's actions more than anyone else on the stage (or possibly the world). When it comes to the thought of one person in production knowing; If it was a singular production member that knew, they could easier be fired before a new season. (Still understanding there would be trust issues from the cast.) 2) If the whole production/filming/crew knew for months and kept quiet for entertainment purposes. That would be a huge impact on the cast who have worked on the show for so long and would maybe be severe enough to deter them from signing for another/future season(s).

I'm thinking the "bombshell" they're going to drop in part 3 is that production not only knew about the affair, but helped facilitate the cover up and the extent of it. I think when the cast finds out how involved production was they'll rethink their contracts. If production can meddle in their lives at this level, what else are they capable of? I think the cast will lose trust and faith in production and that could be why they wouldn't renew. She Speaks Bravo talked about that theory a bit. Makes sense to me.
