Didn’t catch this live. But I will say, every experience I’ve had with Lund tuning has been amazing. Relatively fast replies after sending logs during work hours. Quick revisions. And excellent communication. My single turbo 2011 was done in 3 revisions.

Cobb released the green speed update a long while ago. Which made it so tuners could not shut off check lights for emissions. Now if a tuner did not update software then they could send you a file defeating emissions. However you would miss out on important bug fixes, along with important feature updates such as flex fuel new and existing models.

I sold my 2012 GT a couple of years ago, it had kooks longtubes with offroad x-pipe. In retrospect, I s/h taken that off and just kept them. They are probably worth 3x what I paid bc of exactly what you're talking about.

Catching the replay, had a customer take a twin turbo coyote in a s197 to a ls tuner and they tired telling the customer the timing was off on the engine and that was the reason it drove like shit and didn't make good power. Mind you I ran this car prior. No codes ran great and drove fine before going down there. They tried to sell him a holley, told him to pull his car and take it elsewhere because they were obviously clueless.

Those Cobb accessports are better than the sct, lrx and ngauge devices in my opinion. The layout is better and they’re easier to use. Im not sure about the tuning aspect of it but I had one on my 2002 wrx and It gave me timing adjustability on the fly, 02 delete and launch control.

Been saying it for years, green cats don’t matter at all. If a company makes an aftermarket exhaust that replaces a catalytic converter they better make sure they have E.O. #’s attached that are acceptable for that specific vehicle.

Cobb are the big boys for 4 cyl stuff. Subaru, Focus RS/ST, Some VAG shit. Older Subaru stuff has an opensource tuning community that might pick back up (Cobb hired all the guys writing the open source tuning).

CARB is all about who you know. Once you get their confidence they tend to make things easier. Companies with lots of EOs tend to just have to pay a fee for a new one and it gets right through. Big players have it easy, little guy gets screwed. They just held an online seminar today discussing ways they want to streamline the EO process. Do they think Trump will be elected and are now trying to play ball? Inquiring minds want to know.

@@bigo975 They do but they make you take a class on emissions laws and sign a form stating you understand deleting codes on a street car is illegal. Guarantee their latest software leaves a signature in the tune they can use to point the EPA in your direction too.
