Assessment Series 2 - High Volume Personality Tests with Traitify

In this episode of the Recruitment Hackers Podcast (the second in our assessment series) Joshua Spears, Chief Product Officer at Traitify dives into their product, especially designed for high volume hiring with a strong focus on the retail industry. The Traitify test follows a 90 second personality model, based on visuals to give employers human insights on potential candidates. Plus, they also offer a cognitive assessment to determine mental ability.

"High Volume Personality Tests with Traitify" yeah I think I see your priority is quantity not quality. These tests are the dumbest thing around. Each image can be interpreted in various ways. The person who selected the image for the test has a certain point of view, but there are many ways to interpret those images! 5:37 "Nothing Different" and shows an aerial view of some suburban neighbourhood. What does that even mean?? What if I don't live in an area like that? That would definitely be different for me. What if I do live in an area like that, but I don't want to? INTERPRETATION matters! These images and phrases are so vague it will skew the results because it is not clear what you are asking. You will find that 90% of people who take your test find that the results do not match their personality at all. 5:51 "Throw the book at them" with an image of a car accident. Like....... huh? Those two people are angry at each other. Who am I in this picture? It makes a difference if I am the woman or the man. Not everyone even understands the phrase "throw the book at them". 6:13 "Good enough" with a picture of a burger on a bun. People prefer their food in may different ways. If someone prefers a plain burger, do you seriously think that their entire personality is affected by that preference? What about someone who looks at that picture, doesn't even think about toppings, but looks to make sure the burger is cooked "good enough"? These tests are the dumbest thing around.
