I worked from the age of 15 to 72 that’s 58 years of paying tax and NI. I took the Governments advice and paid into a pension and saved as much as I could. Now that I am retired my income comes from my pension and the investments I made on which I pay tax to the Government. I am no longer a working man because at 77 I no longer get up in the morning to go to work, therefore according to Mr Starmer I am to pay even more tax on my income to allow them to give my money to others who did not get a pension and who did not save their money for their old age. Why on earth did I bother, I should have had the holidays that I missed, spent my money down the pub and then allowed the Labour Government to take money from others who did save, because according to Mr Starmer, we have a duty to give our hard earned money to those who have already spent their money on themselves. It is disgusting.
