Clothes and shoes are, on average, 20-25 per cent cheaper in the US than the UK. An iPhone 15 pro that sells from £1,000 in Britain retails for about £800 stateside. In America, an entry level car, such as a Toyota Corolla, costs the equivalent of £16,000. In the UK, the same car would cost about £30,000. Petrol is $0,80 a ltr in the US and $1.72 in the UK. Energy costs are only 25% of what we pay. The UK is poorer than Mississippi the poorest US State. The best thing we could do is become the 51st State of the US

And remember, we have the most expensive energy costs in the world! and it's easy to see why - the recent storms meant the wind farms shut down the turbines as they cannot cope. But still the site owners received £3billion compensation from us bill payers.

Geez!!! Did all this happen in the last few months?!?! Perhaps if we'd stayed in the EU, this wouldn't be the case, but then again, that happened under the Tories. Of course, on the bright side of things, we have the NHS, we pay less for our over the counter medicines, we don't spend billions at election times, we don't have mass shootings at our schools and we don't have a convicted sexual offender with 34 other convictions trying to reverse an election and who pardons convicted criminals who invaded the House of Commons, while stealing top secret documents for who knows why and keeps them in his bathroom. But not to worry, Trump is going to end the Russia Ukraine war in his first day as President (pops) bring the price of eggs down in his first week in office (oops) and bring the price of fuel back to when he left office (oops). Good old Donald, he keeps his word (when ARE the Mexicans going to pay for that tremendous wall?) and he says Starmer is doing a good job and is sure the two countries can do business together. All's well that ends well. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 Don't forget to lock up your wives, daughters, aunties and grandma's - Trump's on his way!!!

The ONLY way to get the UK housing market moving and therefore a boost to the economy is by ABOLISHING STAMP DUTY and lower interest rates on mortgages. The top economist Rachel and her ideological chums don't understand that paying an average of £100,000 in tax to downsize or move actually puts people off! If the cost to move was just legal fees then people would spend hundreds of thousands £ on home improvements, furnishing, extensions etc. etc. providing 1. Massive VAT revenue 2. Jobs for those providing goods and services for homes 3. Houses that better fit the size of family (namely, we have a shortage of bedrooms more than houses)
