Apparently, he's "on the side of justice and due process", hmmm, the BBC, sky, itv C4 + 5, his newspaper produced in-depth reports on why TR got arrested, tried and imprisoned within 3 hrs in Leeds, without making a plea or his own representation. A trial that went to appeal where everything was dismissed. None made follow up pieces about how their legal advice 100% agreed with the "narrative", yet 100% of them were wrong. How could this be?!

From CPS website regarding disclosure of information to third parties in a trial where an accused hasn't been actively prosecuted - "Suspects who are prosecuted are entitled to have their guilt or innocence established with all the safeguards of a criminal trial, including the rules of evidence. Those who are not prosecuted, or who are acquitted, are entitled to the presumption of innocence. The presumption of innocence can only be undermined if the CPS or police were to release evidence enabling individuals to trawl through it to determine why the person was suspected in the first place." If the presumption of innocence is undermined by release of evidence before the suspect is successful prosecuted, it would absolutely risk prejudicing the trial.
