It's just that fetal genitalia are the same and phenotypically female. But after 6 to 7 weeks the expression of a gene on the Y chromosome induces changes that result in the development of testes.

It is just developing the bits required to express this. An egg that is fertilised by a Y Sperm will be XY and will develop male bits, the egg fertilised by an X sperm will develop as female. Regrdless of what they appear to be in the first few weeks, the gender is determined already at conception dependent on what gene the haploid cell that is a sperm is carrying to complete the diploid with the female X gene in the egg. This is why XX and XY are possible but YY is not.

What worries me is that as a child I was a real Tomboy, didn’t like playing with dolls preferred toy forts and playing rough and tumble. Today would I be classed as having gender dysphoria? My husband recently asking Places Leisure gym what their policy was with regards to single sex toilets and changing areas, after a man was seen leaving the female bathroom. He was obviously concerned for our daughter’s safety. Instead of understanding his point and protecting children, they refused to answer and kicked him out of the gym. Cancelling his membership. We are still fighting for them to return our money and they hang up the phone if you simply ask about their policy around men using the female areas. This is becoming increasingly dangerous. We can’t even raise our concerns anymore

Train company... I got hounded out of my career with a large company in the railway industry for refusing to promote islam. By hounded out I do mean hounded out... screamed at "you are mentally ill", accused of being "violent and a danger to society", accused of "terrorism involvement", made unemployable for life, accused of being "racist", accused of having "beaten up the railway chaplain" (who I've never met)... getting my notice handed in two weeks (October 30 2024), fired in January 2025. After 22 years with the same company - already been suspended since September 2013, only kept on due to a union agreement preventing involuntary redundancy.

Medical practices that are not based upon empirical evidence should not be funded by the taxpayer. Homeopathic, Chiropractic, Ayurvedic, Wickern and Chinese medicine are not practised by the NHS for this reason. It's called evidence based objective reasoning.

It matters. That member of staff has been abused and should be reinstated and compensated. Also, any five people going anywhere at any time for any reason and then being careless about the well-being of women, are not a risk of harm - they are actively doing harm, and it's only a question of how much will they do,?

I presume gender is a hugely important part of calculating anaesthesia. Would a transgender person still insist on identifying as the opposite gender in those circumstances ? It could be a disaster for them medically
