Dozens of migrants continued to make the journey on Wednesday, with more people pictured being brought ashore in Dover, Kent, amid calm weather conditions at sea.

Immigration wasn't the cause of the collapse of the strongest economy in Europe/EU. A major factor was the loss of cheap reliable energy from Russia. Far more expensive US LNG raised production costs so Germany lost its edge on the global market. China filled that gap so German manufacturers invested in China. Germany is in the throes of being deindustrialised so many firms are either moving abroad or closing down. This has had an extremely negative effect over the whole economy not just for Germany but the EU. The rest of what Steven said is absolute nonsense.
