Whilst the aims maybe appealing, people like this climate guy when pushed are unable to provide any viable method of achieving net zero that has any financial footing in reality. He shows his lack of knowledge particularly on tidal energy., there is currently no technology that can generate anything like a meaningful quantity of energy generation on a national scale/demand level and hasn’t been ever. Its like all the wind and solar farms that quote how many 10s of thousands or 100,000 houses their scheme will power. Whilst failing to tell the truth that they base their calculations on the maximum capacity of said green energy source, not the actual output which for offshore and onshore wind farms averages 40% & 30% respectively and 11% for solar wind farms. All of which negates the fact that their house numbers are also based on the average annual electric consumption of a mid size house being 20% of the occupants needs based on Ofwat’s figures. Forgetting to mention that this is on the basis that the other 80% energy required per house assumes it is supplied by gas! You really couldn’t make up the lunacy of this net zero Ponzi schemes.

We need MORE carbon. Currently carbon is only 0.04 % of the total gasses in our atmosphere. If that carbon drops to 0.02% plant life will start dying off. If plant life dies off we are doomed. No oxygen, no food. That doesn't sound like a good reason to stop carbon emission. In fact , it's a death warrant. So pushing the Zero emissions policy is suicide.
