Thank you for this show. I now watch every week. I miss old comedy sitcoms, we don't have a sense of humour anymore. I think people forget that part of comedy is making characters that you laugh at, not want to be like. Also I find stand up comics used to be funny 15 years ago but now most of them are the most virtue signalling unfunny people in the world.

It is a lot of islands with different names that come under the overarching name of Orkney islands and Shetland islands. Only time it wld be pluralised is if u were talking about the northern hemisphere Orkney and Shetland islands with the ones in southern hemisphere. This misnomer really annoys the islanders.

That "Welcome to Country" spiel where there is an acknowledgement to indigenous people has been virtually compulsory at the beginning of all speeches and in parliament in AUSTRALIA for over 20 years, and in some cases or areas of the country for over 30 years! The Americans are just copying us Aussies (and we are copying the Canadians, I believe). It's the norm here now and has been for a couple of decades. It's taught in primary schools etc.
