Rishi Sunak’s Tories could be reduced to fewer than 100 MPs at the general election, a new poll has suggested.
The 15,000-person poll was used to create a seat-by-seat breakdown, which indicated the Conservatives would be wiped out in Scotland and Wales and hold just 98 seats in England.
The survey put Labour on 45% with a 19-point lead over the Tories on 26%.
Columnist Rod Liddle tells TalkTV: "It's very difficult to beat them and so they come back."
On the rising popularity of Reform UK, Rod says that the party resonates with a lot of people because of its ‘anti-woke’ stance.

My grandfather served in Eygpt in the first world war. When he came home , the family, bought and put the Union Jack around his shoulders out of a mark of respect to him, for his service. I have that flag in our family heirloom box- to call it Far right and put this BRITISH EMBLEM at risk is so respectful to our ancestors. How easy it is to try and wreck the Emblem of our country when you have never had to fight for it - Nicola should be ashamed of her self-she needs to go back to school to learn about our history and why it is that she is free today to make mockery of our NATIONAL EMBLEM FLAG.

I have no problem with diversity as long as its done sensibly and with proper integration. Certain sections of a religious cult do not appreciate our culture and will act by any means necessary to get their message across.

Thank you Rod for bringing up the subject of the Union Flag. As you say it is the National Flag. All countries have one. It is not belonging to left or right or any political colour. The Union Flag has been in existence since 1801 and is not Protected by any Act of Parliament. It should be. UK armed forces display in a small patch size on combat uniform, every military base flies the Union Jack at home abroad. It is our identity. Keir Starmer and a labour government may do away with it. Rod is absolutely correct in dismissing comments suggesting it belongs to far right (far right is a dog whistle issued by MSM to silence anyone they wish to cancel). The Pakistani Flag flying over Westminster Abbey over Easter was authorised by church leaders acting for the Head of the Church of England who is the King. All fighting units in our Army (and RN, RAF) display the Union Flag next the Battle Honours won in Battle in every fighting unit Headquarters and all military personnel Salute both when walking past them. The Union Jack should be protected by an Act of Parliament before the Leftist and Woke politicians do away with it. Protocols for the Union Jack can easily be removed unlike any Act of Parliament protecting it. A Vote for REFORM UK is what I will be doing along with a Million Military Veterans who to protect our Union Jack and stop our country becoming a Third World nation.

Don't be fooled by that Nicola Thorp bint, just because she's now on Talk TV, she is as Far Left as it's possible to be. She really wanted to associate our wonderful Union flag as a symbol of the Far Right and pushing her opinion on Rod Liddle, and hoping Rod would agree with her, but Rod was having none of it! I really hate people who disrespect our Union Flag, or even the English Flag, many brave Men & Women have died for our Country and it's Flag.
