And you can be Minister for Education one week, Foreign Minister the next, Chancellor the next. I can't think of any business where this would happen? It's not just the education, it's also the experience (or lack thereof), which arguably is even more important. No surprise our political class is letting us down so badly.

I’ve been to our GP several times over recent weeks for annual review, test, etc at various times of the day. Every time there wasn’t a person in the waiting area. Are these GPs seeing anyone or doing any NHS work. The place is full of admin workers and nurses. The staff car park full, the visitors car park empty When test results came back they contacted me to arrange an appointment to discuss with a doctor, it was to be a phone call, 3 weeks after that day. What are these GPs doing ? We’ve created a 3rd world service at great expense and to the benefit of everyone except those expected to pay for it.

Councils often outsource a lot of services like care and maintenspace etc and these people have to pay and then transfer to the council.. only direct employees may be reclaimable.Other businesses will charge othe s to make back the cost or if they can’t they may. Lose or reduce numbers.

Truss was useless and wrecked the economy over a couple of days following the disastrous budget. This was bad enough but at least you could see the big problems, reverse them and put measure in to correct them. Reeves has put us in a much more dangerous position where it’s a steady decline over months where it’s difficult to pinpoint the exact way to fix it as it’s a number of things she’s done and, sadly, is blindly oblivious to it.

Also, foreign nations from some countries don't get or believe in jabs due to religious or cultural beliefs. They live in larger families predominantly therefore bugs will be spread quicker in and out the family. Therefore virus rates will increase along with the elderly increase rate . Which is an annual norm. I think maybe advice more openly and frequently to use community services eg pharmacy consultations or walk in centres. What happened to leaflet/ advertisements on bus stops et and public announcements?

In my town we only have a Tesco extra and a polish shop in town, there is a Tesco supermarket a 40 minute walk away, but, being a pensioner I can no longer walk to it and carry back bags. I have noticed over the past few months that their bags of potato's have shrunk to half the size at the same price as many other things have. Get it delivered I hear many of you say, to get a free delivery you have to spend a certain amount and thanks to Rachel I have to be very careful on what I spend. The 480 pound Labour keep going on about, it is gone before I even see it, last year we had a large rise funny then that I was 10 quid a week worse off which will be the same this year, or even more. I worked all my life and Labour seem to despise me, so they tax me and give it to the illegal immigrants who are fed and kept warm, as are the Labour politicians who claim massively on their expenses for energy and anything else they can get their grubby little hands on.

Truss's economic policies were spot on - as Rache has spectacularly confirmed. Her mistake was assuming the Tory party would support her and her quasi-Thatcherite agenda. She failed to understand that half the Tory party prefers political oblivion to supporting a Brexiteer. And that the Gov of the BofE was batting for the other side. Sacking the chief Treasury mandarin on Day 1 may have been pleasurable and entirely justified, but then expecting the rest of the Blob to provide loyal support was frankly deluded. They owe no loyalty to elected governments. They are the State within the State. Until they are eliminated entirely we are going to get MORE OF THE SAME.

Worrying thing is there is Zero Chance of it getting better. Inflation, Energy and Interest Rates will all increase. Employment costs to cover the Employers National Insurance Increases havent come into force until April 2025. Increase to Minimum Wage Rise will also affect business. All its going to do is Take Money out of Consumers Pockets. Which then puts Unemployment and Job Loss on the table.
