He came to me in my dream. I didnt know who he was. He came as a snake . That turned into a man and it was myself and many others waiting for him to appear. When he did you had to show respect, we all dance in a circle almost like a congo line. Later certain people were put out of the line by him..afterwards he gave the ones he was pleased with treasure and he even brought some of the ones that were put out the line. They people in line thought it was unfair lol but noone dared challenge him.. they even had couple who was arguing and he stopped them. He was well dressed in a nice suit the looked like good quality. It was dark but had iridescent like rainbow shimmers. Why would he come to me ? Please someone. Asé

Greetings. I have recently received Oshumare and this video has been very timely for I have not tended to her since I received her as I was not sure what to do. I haven't physically experienced any interaction with a snake but I dreamt about one and had this intense feeling I needed to work with her but I was clueless exactly what to do

The real answer is because that is how igbas in candomblé are set up and it is historical going back to the founding terreiros. It’s not a lukumi orixa at all.

did you ever notice that oshumare is not yoruba orisa and barely has any position in yoruba land, as well as nana buruku. oshumare comes from the vodun culture. and was partially taken over by the yoruba. all your explanations, especially the connections to osun or yemoja sound very funny and All ur explanations are wrong, if u take a look on her origin, rather love novels the great rainbow serpent means fertility, blessings, Creation, healing, nurturing

@@asieloshunyeyeo Im sorry, it wasn't meant to be in any way rude. What I miss in the World of Orisa - Tradition, that so many things are lost, and fa away from yoruba land. Especially in brasilian tradition. Cuba still has the traditional odu ifa consultation

@@midnightaura1504 I was never offended. I respect everyone's views and give them their proper place. This religion is constantly mutating, shifting, and in a state of metamorphosis. Some things will survive and some things will not. Orisha is extremely malleable and it adapts to whatever time, location and people who it is around. Sometimes, tbh, it is also the ELDERS who do not teach or talk about topics and then they never pass it. Osha is wonderful in all of its traditions.

Right. This was taken from Brazilian candomblé without the 7 years of initiation into candomblé by a lukumi priest. Candomble has osumare because of the ketu influence. Yes dangbe is the original just like obaluaye was actually an alaafin for a short time but the original is the Vodun sakpata. Nana buruku holds the same status as olodumare in the Vodun mythology.
