Admission is through JEE/OJEE criteria only. But yes, unfortunately with such low % u can't seat in any placement in final year

@Swayansh @Mayank Mishra Some companies keep 12th marks as criteria But I think for Majority of the companies 12th marks doesn't matter only the skill and talent you've gained throughout the years matters. That's the case for most of the college's Am I right?? Or is it different here?? meaning the companies that come to OUTR bhubaneswar they all demand to have good percentage (>60%) for placement ?? Please someone clarify

@@ron2851 yes, for example 1 of my classmates (mechanical engineering) student in 1st year is now in IT branch . How? She performed quite well among top 10 or 9+ CGPA in 1st year, then applied for branch change ( a form is circulated by respective college) and she gave her 3 preferences CSE, IT and InE. So, she got IT. Just like counseling is done for JEE. Diff is that JEE is for large scale (all over India students) and this branch change after 1st year is only in the college level. PS - Now, that girl (who was in Mechanical Engineering in 1st year and now is in IT branch) is placed in Amazon with 17lpa. So, yeah, u have 1 chance for branch change but you need to outshine.

Ya but probability is less, but u can get IT branch n shift to CSE after 1st year. But for this, you've to perform extremely well in 1st year.
