What I find amazing is how the British players get away with murder. Luke Shaw as an example has been at Utd for about 8 years, and has produced maybe 18 months of good performances, yet no criticism. And as for Mctominay, the less said about him the better

Rangnick tried to implement additional training sessions when he first arrived at the club and the players threw their toys out the pram. That shows you that Rangnick is right the recruitment process next few windows is key as these current players are too comfortable and don't want to put the hard yards in to improve on the pitch. Far too many Utd players are more interested in their off the field activities. Look at Mata, Jones, Matic, Lingard and many others have stayed for years with zero game time! I know Lingard wanted to leave in January but he has been a fringe player for 3-4 seasons. Where's their pride

Physicality for a footballer is about commitment. Manchester United players run away from the ball. They don't want to get involved in the game. A player with the ball has few options to give the ball to. Players with physicality are always trying to get involved and they do so in unity. That is how good teams generate results

Murphy had it right. There's no consequences for lack of form or commitment. Look how Maguire and Rashford keep appearing despite their dreadful form. This goes back to Ole who did the same thing and left Donny, Bailly and Lindgard out the team despite some first framers being awful.

ManU Should have promoted Keiran McKenna to manager. He has taken on the Ipswich Town Job and done incredibly well. I know it was a risk. But he is young and hungry. Something like 11 clean sheets in 19 games, we just went on an 11 game unbeaten run. Maybe he has come here to gain experience as he is a Manchester united fan. Look out for Kieran McKenna everybody. I watched both Man Utd vs Liverpool both under different managers. You watch salah and mane tracking back and putting the miles in. However - Can someone please explain to me how Chris Armas is an assistant coach to Ralph Rangnick at one of the elite clubs in world football? (Notwithstanding their 'Red Bull' connection - and perhaps their fondness for imbibing same - how could this have come to pass?) If managers are judged, in part, by the company they keep, then "The Godfather of Gegenpressing" receives a failing grade, in my view. Toronto FC fans will know that Armas was nothing short of shambolic as manager of Toronto FC in Major League Soccer (MLS). His record at TFC? (2 wins, 10 losses, and 3 ties, for a winning percentage of 13.33%). His cringe-worthy press conferences, which perpetually had Toronto journalists in comedic disbelief, made Ted Lasso look like Sir Alex. (Note to Gary Neville: Those "disrespectful" Ted Lasso comparisons, leaked by certain United players, were not altogether misplaced). Already in troubled waters, Rangnick did not help himself by hiring Armas as his right-hand man at Manchester United.

To be honest Klopp had problems with getting players up for it when he first came into Liverpool that first half season. The pieces only started to fall into place once he had a full season in front of him and was able to bring in some players he wanted and remove players he didn't want. I don't think Klopp or Pep could work with that group of player in their current state. Even they would be struggling until they could bring some players in. You cant help people who don't want to be helped.

Klopp got the players up for it from the off. He made 2 cup finals in that half season or so. You saw change straight away especially in workrate. Of course there were many players that weren't up to it but he got what he could out of them & then got rid although he kept some for way too long, Mignolet & Moreno for a start.

@@eddy4688 I knew someone would point out the 2 cup finals but as a Liverpool fan I remember the teething problems we were having in the league. Players were constantly getting injured because they couldn't cope with the work demands. One week we were good the next we were bad. We finished 8th that season. We had shown signs of improvement yes but not to the extent people like to make out. And cup football is cup football. We had some moments of magic were it all clicked but if you watched the finals you could tell we were very work in progress whereas City and Sevilla were both more complete teams. The following season we snuck into 4th by 1 point so we didn't just click over night really.

Sad truth is, that Man Utd as a club went for players in a manager vs player war, it started with Moyes, continued with van Gaal and exploded with Mourinho. The players, through the actions of the club, understood that they have more power. So players do what the want are lazy, etc, which is terrible for a team. Solskjaer was brought in, mr nice guy, friend to all players, but it just doesnt work that way. Players need a strong manager who they follow, respect and even fear. It is like the army. Rangick has been put in place with his hands behind his back, couldnt bring in his own coaches and was given Fletcher. A guy with no experience or cv and told work with him, to do what. every time I listen to these pundits I get pissed off. It's clear that the board doesn't allow consequences for these players. They haven't had consequences for the last few years despite playing badly. And if you don't allow consequences, the manager has no control over the team.
